Keeps pedal body from wearing into carbon sole. For 4-Hole carbon sole mounts. Kit includes a pair of shims.

These plates where originally developed for four bolt fixing shoes, such as the Lake CX401. But recently many Pro athletes have been using these on three bolt shoes to reduce the wear between the plastic base plate and the four bolt engagement part of the cleat. This will significantly reduce the wear, especially on your release foot. Please be aware that it will increase your stack height slightly.

The metal wear plates are very thin. You are supposed to reuse the screws that are already in your cleats.
Are these Stainless Carbon Sole Wear Plates compatible with the Speedplay Light Action Titanium Pedals?
