Frame protectors fit over your bike's frame tubes at points of possible impact or abrasion and help to prevent chips and scuffs. Many materials are used to make these handy items, neoprene, clear or coloured plastics and even carbon fibre.
Sportscover is a special protective vinyl with unique qualities for all surfaces that needs to be protected from beeing chipped and scratched. Designed to stop paintwork from being worn away by cable-rub this bimper pack of thick but clear stickers is very useful for keeping your bike looking good. There's a couple of really long strips to run along the full length of top and downtubes and a lot of smaller sections to place here and there about your frame.
Compared to a lot of other proitection pacthes, bukeshield looks almost invisible (if somehting can 'look' invisible!) and doesn't seem to scuff up, get dark edges or yellow over time leaving a nice seamless surface.
It's fairly costly stuff but it keeps your bike looking good without being noticeable and is a whole lot cheaper than a respray.
