Magazine reviews for Sports Cover BikeShield Frame Protector Set
Review from Singletrack
Designed to stop paintwork from being worn away by cable-rub this bimper pack of thick but clear stickers is very useful for keeping your bike looking good. There's a couple of really long strips to run along the full length of top and downtubes and a lot of smaller sections to place here and there about your frame.
Compared to a lot of other proitection pacthes, bukeshield looks almost invisible (if somehting can 'look' invisible!) and doesn't seem to scuff up, get dark edges or yellow over time leaving a nice seamless surface.
It's fairly costly stuff but it keeps your bike looking good without being noticeable and is a whole lot cheaper than a respray.

Sports Shield is a simple piece of kit that will help keep your frame looking like new...once applied with a soft cloth you'd never know it was there...a great way of keeping your pride and joy looking like new, especially if you like to sell things on in the future.
An inexpensive way to keep your frame shiny and new

1off 50cm x 10cm.
1 off 50cm x 5cm.
1 off chainstay protector.
1 off rectangle 6cm x 3cm.
2 off rectangle 3cm x 2cm.
4 off oval 5cm x 1.5cm.
I don't know the sizes of these pieces, but I would highly recommend going to a site like http://www.convertape.com/150mm-protection-454-p.asp instead and buying a roll of the stuff - for the same price as this Wiggle kit, you can get a big 15cm x 100cm reel of exactly the same material! Enough to pretty much cover the whole of your bike if you wanted!
They obviously do smaller sizes for a lot less if you want, but the main thing is it's far cheaper and you can cut to whatever size you require.
Hope that helps :)
If it has been on for a long time and is reluctant to release, I would imagine that a little kerosine or turps would help dissolve the adhesive without damaging the frame paint
