Travel does matter: Lost travel: All standard shifters need 7 to 15 degree of "lost travel" just to engage the shifting pawl before you even begin to shift gears. X.0 is the first trigger type shifter with zero degrees of "lost travel" - ZERO loss travel - The pawl is always engaged!
About Gear Levers & Shifters
Make sure the gear levers you choose are the correct ones for your rear cassette - either 8/9 or 10 speed. Also check that the integrated brake levers (if fitted) are cable or hydraulic to suit your brake calipers. Most SRAM shifters are only compatible with their own derailleurs.
