The Grossglockner 2008 - Austria: The Grossglockner is one of the most famous mountain passes in the world. The road across the pass was constructed in the thirties, especially to grant the Austrians better access to the wonderful mountainous landscapes and glaciers. The 62km ride starts in the valley south of Bruck at about 800m & takes you up the Northern side of the climb past the Fuscher Törl at 2428m, the tunnel at Hochtor 2504 m & then up to the Kaiser-Franz-Josefs-Höhe Glacier 2369m. The 2nd part of the ride takes you back up the southern side again past the Fuscher Törl to the finish 3km further high up on the Edelweiss Peak at the Bikers Nest view point 2571m
L'Etape Du Tour 2011 - France: This route follows the main Massif Central stage in the 2011 Tour de France. Starting just south of Issoire, it leads through the impressive Monts du Cantal mountains where you will find two major obstacles on your way. First there is the Puy Mary (Pas de Peyrol) at a height of 1589 m. You barely have time to recover for the second challenge, the 4,4 km climb to the top of the Col de Perthus at an average of 8%. L’Etape du Tour was filmed in the colourful autumn of 2010 and shows the green heart of France at its most beautiful.
Watch out! This film is suited for Tacx Trainer software users only, not for the Tacx Fortius software.
Sella Ronda - Italy: Discover some of the most beautiful mountains in the world: the Dolomites in northern Italy. The 53km Sella Ronda circuit contains four climbs: Passo Campolongo, Passo Pordoi, Passo Sella and Passo Gardena. Surrounded by the rugged, rocky mountains, the pine trees and the snow, you become part of the majestic scenery. Your adventure finishes with an even bigger challenge: conquering the Kronplatz (Plan de Corones), where Giro d’Italia history has been written. Are you ready for the 15km climb on unpaved roads with percentages up to 24%
Etape 2010 (Col du Tourmalet) - France: Ride the last 123km of the gruelling final mountain stage of the 2010 Tour de France. Featuring the Col de Marie-Blanque 1035m, Col du Soulor 1474m & the epic category Col du Tourmalet 2115m. Starting close to Escot about 50km after the stage start in Pau & meandering over the final cols & Pyrenean foothills through Asson & Luz-Saint-Sauveur to the finish on top of the mighty Tourmalet.
