Answer:
I have an Elite Travel Trainer, originally supplied without a Quick Release. This fits just fine and has eliminated the slack where the turbo trainer joins the bike.

Answer:
Yes, it's a standard skewer with just the adjustable barrel being the right shape to fit in a tacx turbo trainer.

Hi, I have used it on the road many times (on my road bike) and never had any problems. It's certainly durable if slightly heavier than a regular skewer.

Answer:
No problem at all with using it on the road as I often do. Just make sure that the skewer is tightened up and pushed so that it falls between the two tubes of the rear triangle as I find it is much less prone to vibrate loose (I do this with all my skewers)

Answer:
Can certainly be used with the Elite Crono Fluid ElastoGel Trainer.
I mangled one of the springs on my default skewer, replaced with this one and this is far more secure and much easier to get to the right tension in my opinion.

I alrady have a tacx skewer and it fits fine on my road bike, however, it is just too short to use on my tri bike. Does anyone know if they come in different lengths, or what is the length of the one that you have bought? many thanks

Length is 163mm. They dont do a longer version. Think there may be something odd about your tri bike.. is it 11 speed?

This skewer is intended for use with a turbo trainer. It is certainly longer than the one I use on the road, but fits the trainer perfectly.
