The CK1 is perfect for someone looking for a Cyclo Cross or touring / commuting bike. An absolutely perfect bike for both beginners and specialists alike.
Compact geometry (4cm slope), triple butted 7005 tubing with a 5-coat paint finish and anti rust priming to deal with the harshest of environments. Mudguard and rear carrier braze on bosses are fitted as standard.
Highly rated by the Cycling Press, this bike is supremely comfortable. All components are tough and reliable - perfectly suited for touring/cyclo x and will see you through the hardest of rides.

Cyclocross frames are similar in appearance to a road frame, but they have more clearance for mud to pass between the tyre and frame and avoid clogging. Other features are cantilever bosses for Canti's or V-brakes, along with a higher bottom bracket for clearance when riding over obstacles, more upright angles designed for faster handling at lower speeds and the cables usually run along the top tube so they do not get in the way when you have to carry the bike. Cross frames can be built up into commuters or winter hack bikes as they have ample room for mudguards, their upright riding position and fast handling suits city traffic, when compared to a road race bike, they should also be fine for winter club runs.
Introduced in 2000 the Tifosi brand was one of the first customised bike brands of the new millennium. The intention was to inspire European component parts makers in the face of the transfer of large scale bike building to the Far East. After all, bespoke tailoring has always been the hallmark of quality. The Tifosi are enthusiastic supporters of the sport in Italy which is where Chicken’s Columbus tubing originated, now produced under the CK Columbus brand name in the Far East. Tifosi frames are powder coated to the highest quality in Belgium and built in-house to customers’ specification, using a variety of group sets, wheels and parts. The build kits and group sets offer component mixes in terms of balance and extraordinary good value. Quality brand name parts are all too evident – Campagnolo, Mavic, Selle Italia, Gruppo 3T, Vredestein, T.A., Selcof – are European components well known for performance and reliability.
