nice and light for a street wheel replaced the weinmann dp18's for this one after 12000kms. The wheel is approx 500g lighter and can feel the difference when heading uphill. 30 July 2012

Great wheels for road going fixie / track bike These are great wheels for a road going fixie / track bike. Nicely built with a quality feel, came with a few spares. Only complaint is that the freewheel is a Dicta which are bin-jobs. The Dicta freewheel is a poor complement to a great wheel-set. Skipped installing that and put a Shimano freewheel on instead. The silver freewheel looked great on these wheels. Very nice. 03 January 2012

Token White Track Wheels Had these for around 6 months but with minimal use. They are currently on my girlfirend's SS that she uses for short errands and getting to work (only about 3km). They are heavier than the listed weight at just under 2kg (sorry, don't remember the exact weights but I did weigh them when I got them out of the box). The freewheel is a dicta but I didn't use it as I got a different sized Shimano freewheel. Anyway, the sealed hubs are smooth and quiet. They look nice and feel very sturdy. The 30mm rims are a good size and the braking is predictable. Overall, not a mind blowing wheel but good, solid and relatively cheap. The white looks good too with subtle token graphics. 01 January 2011

brilliant wheels I bought these to replace those that came with the bike. They are pretty light, have a mid-depth aero rim, bladed spokes and great bearngs. They have made a massive difference to my bike. I added lightweight tyres and latex tubes and have been able to change from a 17 tooth sprocket to a 15. Excellent value for money! 23 November 2010

Can you please confirm the weight of these wheels?

The description says Weight: 1670g/set (790g+940g) which seems quite light for a wheel of this price. I'm buying these for a junior track bike so weight is important.

These wheels come with a factory spec sheet which includes the weighed wheels. Mine were slightly heavier (by a few grams) but generally they would fall into the 1730g wheelset

I can confirm this is the weight Token are listing these wheels at, please bear in mind these wheel-sets do not have free-hubs as they are track hubs.

Can you confirm the axel width of these wheels?

Sorry but I'm confused by the measurements listed above. Do these wheels fit standard track frame spacing of 100mm F and 120mm R?

yes they will fit track bikes. the rear axle has an extra nut and is a little wider than standard to fit frames with slightly wider spacing.

Answer:

100mm front wheel spacing is standard for road, track, MTB, etc.

The rear dropout spacing is 120mm, which is standard for track. Road is usually 130mm and MTB 135mm.

Measured by hand so may be 1-3mm out but this is straight from the actual wheels we have in stock:

Rear: Full length 170mm, clampable length 115mm
Front: Full length 140mm, clampable length 95mm
