About Quick Release Skewers
Quick release skewers are rods which are threaded at one end, with a cam assembly on the other. This combines to make a lever operated cam system. The quick release mechanism was invented in 1927 by Tullio Campagnolo, who was an Italian bicycle racer. He was frustrated when he needed to repair a flat tyre during a race, the weather had turned cold, and his hands were numb, so he could not operate the wingnuts which retained the wheel. He had been well-placed prior to the puncture, but lost valuable time, so decided to develop a quick release skewer system which enables simple wheel removal in seconds.

This item use your wheels
All road bike wheels use this item
"lock down" feel is both positive and assure. Slightly easier compared to campy. But I'm sure if you want the same feel, just tighten it further and clamp down : ) but that may damage your hub.
Will these fit my campag zonda wheel set?
My Zonda use this item
An example, a common front wheel skewer width for both road and MTB is 100mm
The common skewer width for the rear wheel MTB is 135mm whereas the rear wheel for a road bike is 130mm.
So you DO have to choose the correct skewers between MTB and Road as the rear is 5mm different.
130mm for the back.
Am sure it will fit zonda.
These skewers will fit your wheels with no problems.
