Very versatile and easy to use I've read both good and bad reviews but as far as I know now, my experience with it is good (little use at the moment but good perspectives). Very versatile and easy to use. Just screw it over the valve without putting out the core valve and pump it. The only little problem is when trying to put it out because I have to unscrew it carefully and until I have more practice, I need a couple of attempts. 01 July 2010

Very Poor Lasted about 3 uses - as per previous reviews, threads became damaged on first use as it was necessary to tighten a fair bit to prevent leakage. On 3rd or 4th use, it failed completely and actually blew apart into 3 pieces. I was only aiming for 120psi in the tyres - this is a totally unacceptable level of performance. 18 June 2010

Does the job. Converting standard length prestas to longer for race style wheels is not ideal. However if the tube with a longer valve is not available this is a good workaround. I've had one one my front wheel and haven't bothered changing it for the correct tube. 15 January 2013

Work just fine- I like that air can be let out of the tube with out having to find a small screw driver of similar- also the screw on my topeak mini pump fits- pocket race pump 12 January 2013

Just to be clear. Are these extenders suitable for valves with _non_ removable cores? i.e. I'd like to use them with the continental Giro Tubs...

It already has a valve built in so you do not remove the existing core, just loosen the valve and screw this on.

Yes, it suits non-removable cores well. you just need to mount it where you mount a valve cap, simple and easy. You can even do it after you you stick your tire to the rim..

Yes they will work. They are designed to fit on the end of the original valve. Leave the valve open as if you were inflating it and just thread onto the valve where the dust cap fits.

Yes, I have used them on non-removable valve stems and they worked fine.

Yes you can use these with non-removable valve cores but pumping your tyre up requires access to the core so you can unscrew and tighten up the valve when required, so successfull pumping does depend on the amount of valve showing over the rim.

Yes - I use the Innovate Microflate nano CO2 pump. No issues. You get a really good seal with these which is important as you only get one chance to get it right really. Much better than with the Zipp valve extender I used before and no messing about with tape.
