Apparently now 15 years old Topeak's Survival Box makes a good compact choice for tourers. The seperate tools are harder to get at than those in an all-in-one but once found, they're easier to use. the nice big chain tool needs putting together but it makes easy work of a chain compeared to the micro varieties. A good old tube and glue patch kit si an added binus and the very smart carry box fits quickly to any frame tube.
In conclusion...
A great way to carry everything you need and made up with some quality.
