3k carbon insures a low weight of only 28g while maintaining strength. Slotted mounting, enables the cage to be fitted or removed from your bike without the need to fully remove your bottle cage fixings.
About Bottle Cages
Water bottles and cages are essential items for your bike, fluid replenishment is essential for long term activities and fitting a water bottle and cage to your bike is the perfect way of keeping you hydrated. Studies show that loss of fluid equal to 2% of your body mass is sufficient to cause a significant decrease in performance. Bottle cages have also received the lightweight treatment with materials such as carbon, titanium and alloy often used. These cages will accept water bottles from 500ml up to 1,000ml, making it possible to carry 2,000ml of fluid on your bike. It's also worth using an Energy drink whilst riding as these will help replace minerals lost through sweating.
About the Verenti brand
Cyclists are passionate about their sport – and even more passionate about the bikes they ride. In few sports do participants take such pride, interest and involvement in their equipment, but to a cyclist a bike is more than just a bike, it is an extension of themselves and their individual personality. Those of us who have worked to create Verenti understand this. We are cyclists as well as bike designers. We’re proud to shout about our exciting new bike brand called Verenti which has its origins in the French and Latin word “verite” literally meaning 'Truth'. The concept of truth and being true to oneself when riding seemed perfect to build a brand around, but to avoid any trademark issues (like we sadly experienced with Kiron) we have changed the spelling slightly. All the bikes that carry the Verenti name in the coming months and years will have three common factors. First, they will be designed bottom up for performance in whatever domain: sportive riding, road racing, TT or Cyclocross. Second, they will be characterised by the distinctive attention to detail that cyclist’s love: components, drive train, colour schemes, finish are all crucial to the overall package not an afterthought. Third, all the bikes will offer great value in terms of performance desired by enthusiastic cyclists at a price that can only be delivered through direct design and sourcing from the best manufacturers in the world. The truth is for those that choose Verenti bikes we believe there should be no compromises.

In conclusion...
Using the Verenti logo as the design for a bottle cage is a novel idea and luckily the design suits the application quite well. Finished with a 3k weave and with no other logos, it's a fairly unassuming cage that actually wouldn't look out of place on most road bikes but obviously will fit a Verenti perfectly. We really like the look of the slotted mounts that mean the bottle cage bolts don't need to be fully undone to fit the cage, just loosened a couple of turns. Weighing in at 28g each cage costs £24.99.
