Hi Mate,
There is no specific way the tyre must be mounted onto the rim, due to the identical tread patterns in either direction.
Best regards.

I did the London to Brighton on this tyre last year and as far as I am concerned they are great and if you have seen the state of the roads you need a durable tyre.

For the price these tyres are great. As long as you avoid large potholes and large amounts of sharp debris they will be fine.

Answer:
A clincher is the traditional bike tire, it has a small lip all the way around both sides of the tire and uses a tube. This lip locks in on the small counter lip on the rim when the tube is being inflated the tire pushes and grips the rim keeping the tire on the rim just like a care tire. The other main type is the tubular which came about for racing. This tire gets glued or tapered to a special rim that is curved and shallow without the lip. The rire has the tube built in, some are sewed in other are solid mended in which the tube cannot be replaced.

Answer:
A clincher is a tyre that takes an inner tube. Most wheels are designed for clinchers unless you have spend a load of money on wheels for tubs (tubeless tyres.)
