This notorious Sportive takes on the challenging hills of Dorset’s historic Jurassic Coast which was designated as one of England’s first world heritage sites - 95 miles of spectacular coastline with rocks recording 185 million years of the Earth’s history.
The Sportive routes (101 miles Epic / 66 miles Standard/ 42 miles Fun) also enjoy stunning views of Corfe Castle, Lulworth Cove and Poole Harbour as riders are busy tackling leg busting climbs. In addition the Epic route heads north for a loop of the Dorset Downs, where riders will enjoy the panoramic views of distant Somerset as a reward for climbing Dorset’s highest point, Bulbarrow Hill - catch a glimpse of the picture postcard view of Milton Abbey School Playing Fields and the model village of Milton Abbas as you descend the hill.
To improve this now legendary course, the 2012 route will take riders down to the Sea front at Swanage offering riders an unspoiled sea view stretching over to the Isle of Wight and along the spectacular Jurassic Coastline.
Starting from the popular family friendly tourist attraction of the National Tank Museum, you can combine this magical sportive with a day out for the whole family.

Wiggle has teamed up with UK Cycling Events to bring you a New Series of Road Bike Sportives and Mountain Biking events. The aim of the Wiggle Super Series is to encourage all level of riders from new to experience riders to get out on their bikes and ride! To encourage cycling to children, all children ride for free when accompanied by a paying adult!
The Wiggle Super Series events have 2 or 3 different course lengths for riders to choose from. Cyclists challenge themselves in a personal battle against the distance and then ultimately, the clock rather than racing other participants. The aim is to have a great ride and with other cyclists. There are timing standards to aim for in all rides and dependant on your time you will be awarded either a Bronze, Silver or Gold time.
The events are designed to take away the hassle of planning your own ride, so you will find an extremely well marked and easy to follow course. There are well stocked feed stations on the route which will keep you topped up with energy drink and food.
At event centre you will find free mechanical support; food & drink and spares to buy, toilets and Bike wash facilities (thanks to Mobi) and free bike washing products.
