|Number of gears:||30|
|Fork Material:||Aluminium Alloy|
|Bottle Cage Mounts:||Double|
|Wheel Size:||29" (622)|
|Brake Type:||Hydraulic Disc Brake|
This 503 XN, with double water bottle bosses, triple chainset, and Shimano XT disc hydraulic brakes, provides all the qualities you want from a MTB. Strength and agility are matched by the wealth of quality components such as Shimano (XT) and RockShox, to provide a bike that will constantly get you through your course or over the lumpiest route with your mates.
The suspension fork is a RockShox Reba model which has an ample travel and will provide you with plenty of damping allowing you to soak up the rough terrain under you. Brakes are courtesy of Shimano and in the shape of their XT range. Excellent, strong hydraulic brakes that provide outstanding performance faultlessly.
The Shimano XT components deliver the excellent drivetrain and transmission features. Superb reliability and performance is found here with great shifting delivered and thanks to the triple chainset (FSA Afterburner) and the 10 speed cassette, gearing is plentiful - meaning virtually any hill is possible, at a slow speed of course, but speed not forgotten about.
WARP products finish the bike off with their seat post, stem, bars and saddle and are coloured matched to the frame nicely. Finally, the wheelset is a mix of WARP disc XN300 rims built on Shimano hubs. These are encased with a pair of Maxxis IKON 29 x 2.2 tyres thus thrusting you through the deepest of muddy trails with ease.
A well thought out package that makes the 503 XN a great choice for your first MTB adventure. Each Wilier 503 XN is fully built, tested and tuned by Wiggle's team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure you're bike arrives in perfect condition.

If you are looking for a mountain bike that can comfortably negotiate bumpy, cross-country, singletracks yet still be quick and nimble on the road, then a hardtail bike is for you. Hard tail mountain bikes have front suspension, weigh less and are more pedal efficient when the terrain is smooth, than full suss bikes. A good number of single track racers still use hardtails for these reasons. At wiggle, we stock a wide variety of hardtail mountain bike brands including Felt, Focus, GT, Kona, Mongoose, Saracen and more. So if you are searching for superb, quality spec hardtail mountain bikes at great value with a legendary service to match, then you've come to the right place.
Wilier was born in 1906 thanks to the brilliant idea of a trader from Bassano, Pietro Dal Molin, of building bicycles on his own account. His forge or "Steel horses" rose as a small workshop along the banks of the river Brenta, at Bassano del Grappa, and it became more and more successful by keeping up with the increasing demand for bicycles.
The size chart below will get you on the right size bike. Experienced riders may also wish to refer to the geometry chart for more detail.
Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
