The Wilier 505 is a lightweight alloy bike that features 30 gears, RockShox Recon front suspension forks and Shimano components to provide a versatile hardtail machine which will provide you with a stable and comfortable ride as well as solid handling. The frame features double water bottle bosses, external cable routing and a sleek design. The components fitted are Shimano and consists of a mix of models ranging from Deore to XT. The chainset comes in the form of a triple (44x32x22) so this should get you up the steepest of climbs and along the flatest of trails.
The Shimano hydraulic disc brakes will supply good braking when you need it and the RockShox Recon forks provide the suspension when the terrain gets a bit bumpy. The wheels are a mix of Wilier WARP/Shimano and Maxxis. The tyres are Maxxis Ikon's and are seated on WARP XC500 rims, which are built on a pair of Shimano hubs. This combination fits in well with the spec of this bike and will provide you great grip and strength when riding over the rough stuff.
Finally, Wilier has complimented this bike by supplying there inhouse brand (WARP) on the contact points such as Saddle, Seat post, handlebars and stem. Each 505 is fully built, tested and tuned by Wiggle's team of qualified bike mechanics to ensure you're bike arrives in perfect condition. To find out which size fits please view our size guide.

Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
