This frame is also constructed of double-butted aluminium and being lightweight is great for fast town riding. Also, with the flat bars this accommodates a more upright seating position making it easier to ride and also safer. The Marostica’s smallest gear is a tiny 34-tooth inner chainring and a 28-tooth sprocket on the rear cassette, so you can spin even when you are pedaling uphill.
Since the brake and shift levers are integrated on the handlebars, you'll have full control of your speed and gearing without moving your hands from a secure position. For optimal comfort the Marostica comes supplied with a pair of Shimano R500 wheels that are equipped with 28mm Maxxis Detonator tyres plus a Wilier Weekend saddle that will provide you with hours of comfort.

Wilier was born in 1906 thanks to the brilliant idea of a trader from Bassano, Pietro Dal Molin, of building bicycles on his own account. His forge or "Steel horses" rose as a small workshop along the banks of the river Brenta, at Bassano del Grappa, and it became more and more successful by keeping up with the increasing demand for bicycles.
