Tough and Easy
I recently rode from Ireland to Japan with my son. We did plenty of research on chains before we set off and decided upon the Wipperman chain based upon recommendations and a good balance of price to specification.
The chain was easy to fit - excellent link system - needing no links removing. We had been warned that with the rough terrain, summer dust etc in dry southern european and middle eastern areas we would need to change the chains after a couple of thousand miles. We didn't go crazy on lubrication, just giving the chains a wipe down each day and a few spots of wet lube every two or three days depending upon conditions. After 8,000km there had been no sign or slipping or difficulty changing gear and although the chains were a bit less flexible than when new, they could have gone on longer when we changed them.
In terms of performance against price they score 100%. They gave us no worries at all over 16,000km. I have just replaced the second one and have gone for the same wipperman chain again so that is a fair indication of my satisfaction.

The strongest, quickest best quick link you can ge
Always used Wipperman chains, last Connex 900 lasted 3 years before breaching the 1% stretch mark on the chain checker tool.
Can be removed and refitted in less than 10 seconds with bare hands. No tools etc. So easy to clean and relube off the bike if needed.
Strong, very rust resistant, supurb chains. Used to use KMC but not keen on using tools to remove the chains.
Only thing to watch for is when fitting you have the quicklink making a sad face pointing downwards, so it runs smooth on the 11T.

A good solid chain that I use on my SS. It just works. Obviously I can't comment on shifting quality though.
