Answer:
They are identical except for the color. The pictures on the website show the black and white different but that is not the case. The color is the same, but the size are more like the picture of the white.

Answer:
Well, the black sock is black and the white sock is white... otherwise identical! we've ordered several twin packs and my understanding is that you have to specify the same colour and size that you want for both pairs in the pack.

Run Energizer Compression Socks

Answer:
They have a band on the back that go up the back of the tendon. I think it keeps the shoe from rubbing on the Achilles itself. If you get irritation, I would think that these would help but I cannot say for sure since I have never really had any issues with my Achilles.
I would try a pair and see. I think you would be pleased with the rest of the sock itself, so it wouldn't be a wasted purchase.

If anyone could answer that question they'd be a millionaire! The key with achilles is to increase blood supply for healing; compression socks may do that (if they're not too tight, in which case they'll start to restrict blood supply) so might help. Try Dr Google, but expect to get mixed answers... Cheers!

Can't say for achiloles tendonitis, however, I damaged my calf muscle and lost about a 1/4 through scarring, this has caused me numerous problems on longer events. Have recently completed 1/2 marathon and a duathlon with no problems whatsoever and will wear these for any endurance event from now on.

I have various lower leg problems and have used this with some success.I think if you can afford to experiment then worth a try, but otherwise try heel lifts and specific achilles exercises. Good luck!

In the picture the black socks are mid-calf while the white ones come below the knee. Which best represents the actual product?

I have fairly large calfs too, and bought these socks for an injury to my right calf. I have had no problems with them falling down and recently competed in Grim run which meant the socks were soaked through, even then, they did not move a millimetre. Also, i have not had any problems with my injury whatsoever and if any tightness occurs, i wear a pair overnight. Brilliant socks!

These socks provide compression and so are very tight. The top band will hold the sock in place so you shouldn't experience any slipping of the socks.

Answer:
I am sorry but I am not sure what you are referring to. The socks are compression socks and are quite thin from the ankle up so won't absorb moisture well, they do offer good shock absorption with the specifically placed pads in the foot section. If you need specific information please contact sales@wiggle.co.uk. Thank you

Answer:
I'm a UK8 with 16" calf, when I reviewed the common trend was that they are small, however, I found that they are a perfect fit and not too tight to stop me running, if anything, they are a lot thinner than normal sports socks on the foot so may feel slightly different to start with. Personally, I won't wear anything else for longer runs/cycles now.
