Top Features of the Z3R0D oSuit 2012
With its distinctive side panels the Z3R0D oSUIT is immediately recognisable on the ITU circuit and is already worn by many of the world’s fastest professionals.
- Water Wear Weapon (W3):
- W3 is woven rather than knitted, producing a tighter fabric with greater durability and increased muscle support
- The revolutionary woven fabric allows 20% more four-dimensional extension than a traditional knitted one, allowing it to pull in every direction to follow your movement
- At just 135g/m2 it's considerably lighter than most, a difference even more marked when the fabric is wet
- A water-repellent fluoro treatment combined with its light weight means W3 dries in just five minutes
- Tri Pad:
- Lightweight and fast drying
- Flexible, allowing multi-directional movement
- Made of soft microfibre with antibacterial properties
- Provides padding and comfort where needed without obstruction or chafing while running
- Xtra Flat:
- Flatlock stitching is used for all seams and is flatter than traditional overlock stitching, reducing irritation and chafing
- The zip at the back connects at the top and closes from top to bottom, so it can’t accidentally be pulled down from behind
- An elasticated cord is attached to the pull tab to make it easy to reach
- Silicone Leg Hem:
- A smooth silicone rubber strip around the inside of the leg provides grip, stopping it from riding up or bunching
- Framilon tape is extremely thin, highly durable and is used in the seams around the arms, keeping them flat, comfortable and ensuring they retain their elastic properties
The oSUIT is designed to give you the edge in shorter distance races – sprint and Olympic. It is constructed from Water Wear Weapon (W3), a revolutionary woven fabric made in France, making it quick-drying, lightweight and flexible.
The oSUIT has flat seams throughout and smooth stitching around the arms and neck to minimise irritation. The lockable zip at the back is lined for comfort and closes from top to bottom to ensure it can’t be pulled open on the swim. The comfortable tri pad is made of antibacterial microfibre, helping you stay cooler and drier on the bike without obstructing your running.
Z3R0D tri suits may already be worn by some of the world’s fastest professionals but Z3R0Ds target market is clear: all passionate athletes who dedicate time to their sport.

Magazine reviews for Z3R0D oSuit 2012
Review from Triathlon Plus
A high-end suit at a high-end price, but if you
are racing short and fast this is the one for you.
If the shape of the oSuit looks familiar,
you will have seen it on some
top ITU athletes. ZeroD say their special
Water Weapon Wear woven fabric
gives better freedom of movement and
hydrodynamics and that was borne out in
our test; the oSuit was the best suit we swam in. The
women's suit is especially good, with an
open racer back and thin straps helping
give complete freedom of movement.
Long legs and smooth seams keep it
drag free and slippery in the water. All
of that of course makes a great cycling
and running suit too; the oSuit is really cool and
breathable, and there™s nothing to rub
on the run. The pad is perfect for Olympic
distance and could see you round a
70.3. Only lack of support (the women™s
version just has a liner in the chest) and
pockets limit its versatility.
Review from 220 Triathlon
ZeroD is a relatively new French company whose high-end tri-suits are already worn by a number of pros on the ITU and Ironman circuits. The oSuit is their sprint/Olympic-distance specific outfit. The first thing you notice is its weight, or lack of.
The paper-thin fabric is woven rather than knitted, making it tighter, more durable and more water repellent than traditional materials, even though it feels almost fragile in your hands. The fit is snug. A 'top down' back zipper is a little tricky to fasten yourself but is secure.
Padding is more than adequate for 40km in the saddle; silicone leg grippers stop the shorts riding up; and it's chafe-free on the run thanks to flat seams. Styling is simple and elegant. It's hard to find any faults (as you'd hope for £150), although a lack of pockets makes carrying fuel impossible.

Pricey but high-performing suit for Spring and Olympic races
