A nice mirror and occasionaly a life-saver The only thing to watch for is that the inner diameter of your handle bars may not be big enough to fit the mirror- this happened to me but my local bike shop was able to ream out the bars to fit; don't know what you'd do otherwise! I got used to the mirror really quickly and, when I had a heavy fall that broke the mount, I missed it so much that I replaced it in a couple of weeks. The only minor gripe is that I have to adjust it on almost every ride because it always gets knocked out of alignment going into or out of the house/garage/bikeshed- but since this is a deliberate design feature to stop it getting damaged, which works most of the time, I can't see how this could be avoided. One tip if you do buy this- don't try to cut your handle bar grips with a knife to allow this to fit. Instead, hit the end of the grip with a hammer and the grip will get scissored between the bar-end and the hammer, creating a much neater finish than you could achieve with a knife. The mirror is too big for a road bike. Good product but I think the mirror should be a bit smaller. . 27 October 2012

What diameter bars will it fit?

Having fitted a handlebar designed for small hands my Blackburn mirror no longer fits. The bars are only 13mm in diameter - will this mirror fit - or do you sell any that will fit 13mm bars? Many thanks,

Should do. The fitting to go into the handlebar is quite small and a sleeve is provided to cope for larger diameter handlebars.
