Answer:
Fitting is easy. You use the supplied nuts, bolts and reinforcing washer to bolt it to front of your pedal. Put the toe clips on lightly at first then try out the pedal for foot position and adjust the lateral position of the toe clips to what's comfortable for you. Then do up the bolts firmly (remembering the toe clips are plastic so don't go mad).

You get 2 screws per clip. Remove the light reflector from your pedal and you should find 2 holes behind. Simply use the screws to attach the clips.

it's pretty self-evident. holes in the pedals, slots and screws come with the clips. you'll find it pretty tricky to fit them any other way than the correct way.

Answer:
you will need flat pedals which have holes for the bolts to fit in
then use the supplied nuts and bolts to fix them to the pedals.
Only do up the nuts till they are tight enough to hold the clips in place to much and you start to deform the plastic

Answer:
Your pedals need to have slots for the clip and then screw holes for you to fit the screws through to attach to the nut. If your pedals don't have this then you may need to buy a compatible pedal.

Just take off the removable reflector and attach them with the supplied nuts and bolts. Check for tightness the first few times you use them as they can work loose.

Answer:
Put two screws through the toe-clip from the front and enter them into the holes which line-up in the front of the pedal. Now screw the nuts on finger tight.(this can be tricky, getting them started) Straddle the bike and put your foot on the pedal, sliding the clip to left or right so that it cradles your foot in a comfortable position on the pedal. Grip clip and pedal together, remove foot carefully and tighten screws in this position. Check that it still holds your foot in the correct position. Repeat with the other clip.

Like one of the reviewers I have a mudguard on my front wheel. Can anyone give me any idea how far the clips protrude in front of the pedal when fitted please ( I will need to buy the medium size clips)?
Thanks very much

Hi!
I'm going to buy Zefal Toe Clips. Since I've never used anything like this before, I don't understand exactly how I can attach them to the pedals. Do I also need to order Zefal strapes?
Thanks!

Answer:
They bolt onto the front of a flat pedal, through the gaps. If you buy strapless toe clips then they don't need straps, they are sort of half clips that your toes slot into.
Toe clips proper need straps and you can buy these separately.

Answer:
I actually found these toe clips to be quite narrow. Not sure what kind of work boots you have but they might be a tight fit.
I have small feet (womens UK4) and they fit well but I did question how a large foot (or thicker soled shoe) would go with these.

Answer:
I bought a set of these Zefal strapless clips after I changed my steel toe-cap work trainers and was really struggling to get my feet in and out of my standard toe-clips and straps. I found that the new trainers stood higher at the toe than my old ones and would not go into the strapless clips. I have had several go's with a heat gun to 'open them up' with reasonable success. I couldn't recommend them for use with real work boots I'm sorry to say. TonyCar

If your work boot is a steel toe cap or like then I would have to say no. Or use any of my recommendations if you worried about you foot slipping off the pedal in wet weather.

Yes, but that'd be one weird pedal. The toe clips would be on the underside when you use the m324s clipped in with the risk of grounding on corners or bumpy ground. I wouldn't recommend that set up.

I think this a problem with all clips, strapless or not. Pedals should have a slight projection which helps you to turn them over, but , in the main, it is just practice. It does get really easy in time. Happy cycling!

I'm not always that great in it myself, but it definitely works when you gently rol itl back on your toes. I know it has to be fast, but actually do it gently at a steady pace...it speeds up the whole process. :) Good luck
