Description
No more problems with getting the wrong seatpost or needing another one when you change the type of saddle you use – it now takes 30 seconds to transform your seatpost. And the best news is that despite the double functionality, the Zero25 is even lighter than our previous seatpost.

Not for MTB or CX use!On receipt of this post it was easy to assemble but its design is 100% reliant upon using the included gripper paste to ensure that the single Interscrew prevents the seat tilting on its own accord.... even when tightened to the max 9 Nm.
I tightened the clamp to 8.9Nm with the lots of gripper paste and this seemed fine for several rides- totalling a combined total of around 2000 km.
On a recent ride I clumsily landed (92kg) on the rear of the seat and the seat pivoted 45 degrees and would no longer secure in place. On further inspection one of the side cheeks had split, with the captive side of the Interscrew pulling through the cheek making the post a complete loss. The post looks good, but i replaced it with a Ritchey Comp Carbon Seatpost which is far superior in design. I would steer clear of this product for anything other than road use. I would say that this is not suitable for for light cx or xc use.

Lightweight, soaks up some road vibrationI'd echo a previous reviewer who was surprised that changing a seatpost can increase the quality of riding so much.
The seatpost is very light (compared to my previous alloy one at least) and has made a noticeable difference to the comfort of my rides (by soaking up some of the vibration from poorly surfaced roads).
I strongly recommend this seatpost.

Much better than previous 3T seatpostsThis is a huge improvement over the previous generation of 3T seatposts - the ones with the concentric toothed dowel arrangement. These were over-engineered, heavy, and difficult and time-consuming to adjust (the only time I've had to read the manual that came with a seatpost!). They didn't even manage to hold the seat securely - of the three I owned, two allowed a slight rocking movement of the seat, and the rocking motion produced an audible click - really annoying and seemingly incurable. This current design is far lighter and simpler to adjust, and although on paper it doesn't look very secure, it actually does its job perfectly. And the finish is absolutely beautiful. My only criticism is that it could do with slightly greater layback - 30mm would be nice.

Comfortable and well designedI have never thought, that changing a seatpost can increase the quality of riding so much. The installation of the saddle can be a fiddling a little bit, especially if you not only loose the mount screw but screw it totally off. Do not do it.
The riding is smooth and pleasant, which leads you to pressing the pedals with more enjoyment and power. I strongly recommend this seatpost, because it works great on my bike. A real plus.
I have a s-works Roubiax which has a set back seat post I was looking at this seat post will this fit my bike , my bike does have D2 gearing I saw the other question not sure if this would make a difference

I know this question is quite old but answer may help future buyers.
I have this seat post setup with an internal Di2 battery. I just bought the correct size of rubber adapter and pushed the battery into the post without any problem. After two years still working without any issues.
