    Description

    The Airstream Cycling Jacket can easily be packed up and stowed in a jersey pocket when it's not needed but should a cool wind blow then you'll enjoy its windproof construction to keep a chill at bay. Altura have also used a DWR (durable water repellency) treatment across the whole jacket so damp and drizzly conditions are easily faced into too. As you speed along you'll also welcome the semi-fitted tailoring, ensuring you have space to move but with minimal excess fabric to slow you down and if you're riding after dark then the reflective trim details enhance your visibility.

    We will happily refund any item purchased on Wiggle if returned to us within 365 days; excluding Wiggle gift vouchers, nutrition and customised products, except when faulty.

    Please note: Bikes and other bulky items cannot be returned using our local returns service (where applicable). Please contact us and we can arrange to collect these from you using our discounted courier rates. There is a fee for all collections, except for faulty products.

    Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice little windbreaker This takes the chill off of the wind and bats away small amounts of water. Whilst it’s extremely thin and provides no amount of warmth, it does take away the chill of a gust of wind and provide minimal water repellant eg puddle splashes.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from By far the lightest and most packable jacket I ever had. You won't notice it if you carry it in your jacket's/jersey's rear pocket. It is windproof but it is so light that you will get cold during winter if you use it by its own. I believe its purpose is to either use it on its own from late spring to early autumn, or use it as a second outer layer during winter. I've been wearing it at 3-8 C over my softshell and a merino baselayer, and I never been cold on long descents. At first, I thought that because the jacket is so thin the zipper would be difficult to operate with one hand while on the bike, but I was wrong. It's not the best zipper but it works fine. 105 cm chest, bought Large. I followed the size guide and the fit is ok. It is pretty generous and the sleeves are long enough, so if you want something tighter you might consider a size smaller. I chose the grey and it is transparent but not too much. It doesn't have silicone on the hem like it says in the description. Washes well and dries very fast. At 25 euros it is a perfect buy for an extra layer.
