once you get into position on the TT bike this skinsuit is unbelivable, I'm 180cm, 79kg with a 33" waist & 39" chest and the large fits perfect. The skinsuit is cut to fit you in the tt position only so it will look and feel to small when you're not on the bike, but once on the bike it fits everywhere with no loose material flapping in the wind. its expensive but you get what you pay for!!

Tried many skin suits, for me this is the one!
I've had half a dozen or so skin suits so far, most of them being nearly right but the Assos is the winner for me personally. Length of sleeves and cut around the shoulders are the common problems for me with others - the Assos is perfect for me in the shoulders.....the arms are almost perfect themselves, but the loops to go over the fingers pull everything tight and smooth - no idea why more suits don't do this! So happy with this suit that I'm about to buy another to have a pair for the coming TT season. A great product - not the cheapest but, in my opinion at least, completely worth the price.

Great but you need to be careful n sizing
The quality speaks for itself, but I ended up with a M despite being 6'4 and slim.
The pad is one of the best I've ever raced with

excellent tt suite albeit pricey
This is a fine TT suite, although looks small for the large size it fits well when riding, engineered exactly for TT position. I have found the pad so comfy that I use it for long rides despite the otherwise tight fit. Very good quality albeit not Swiss made (mfd in Romania). I would also prefer more color choice. Sizing is not easy to determine, had to sift through reviews until I found someone with the same measures (185 cm = 6ft 2 in) who bought L size.

Great Skinsuit
I purchased the small size in this Skinsuit. I am 5' 8" and weigh 64 Kgs.
The small size was a perfect fit everywhere except for the sleeves where it was wrinkled and slightly baggy. Certainly not a snug fit in the sleeves when compared to the Castelli Body Paint Skinsuit which hugs the arms perfectly when I wear it. I have average sized arms with average muscle mass. The arm length was fine though. But disappointingly I returned the Skinsuit because I was not happy about the sleeves not hugging the arms tightly. So I would advise prior to purchasing to take this into consideration. Just have a look at the arms in the image of this photo and you will see wrinkles. Some may be happy with that but I was not. It may fit others perfectly in the arms. The leg length was perfect and the grippers held firmly in place. The Skinsuit was very comfortable on. The quality superb. Looks fantastic in black.

Great Skin Suit
I like this skin suit fits well with a comfy pad, the two rear pockets are a good feature, only one drawback is when you fix your race number to the suit it leaves pin holes which have got bigger as the material stretches. Assos need to use a different material for the rear lower section to address this issue.

Best speed suit
My very first speed suit from Assos. Previous product i had were Castelli San Remo speed suit. Though I can confess the chamois for Assos is much much comfortable on my time trial bike. The chamois covers much larger part on the lower region which reduces chafing. The price is a bit expensive but I bought when it's on sale. Love it. Would grab it again for second piece if there's another big sale. Love Wiggle sales.

Pricey but you get what you pay for
Comfortable, good looking, and I went a minute faster for a new 25mile PB wearing it!! Its pricey but I think you get what you pay for.Good product

Sizing
I am 68kg 177cm and bought the medium as it was recommended for 170-179cm height. Length wise fits fine but could be tighter in the arms??? Don't think I'd fit into a small but ideally would prefer smaller top half (maybe I just need some muscle)

Shame it didn't fit
Ordered the XLG in black. I am 6'3" and 72kg and due to experience with length of other skinsuits thought this would be right. Shorts section superb as expected, top section too wide for me, flappy under arms. Would have gone for next size down but neck is very low cut. Would have pulled even lower down in XL size and been a bit odd. Decided to return and go with Castelli Body Paint 2.0 in size XL instead. Much higher neck and slightly longer sleeves as well. This is a brilliantly made product though...shame would have liked to keep it.

Could be better
Assos created this suit around the Uno, which means the uno padding is not as comfortable as the Mille or the FI.13. Since this is a special race only TT suit one would think it should have a low position specific insert instead of the 3rd tier one.
In terms of fit it is very tight around the shoulders when standing, so don't walk around it in, in the race position it comes into its own. The collar opening is very very wide mainly because it's cut for someone with narrow shoulders and sticks for arms. If you up size for the chest size the waist is floppy loose. Best to go with the height size guide.

Ultimate Skinsuit
Clearly with Assos you pay for the development and the use of the best materials but what you end up with is a perfect fitting comfortable garment that has been designed for a purpose. I decided to go for the XL despite reading reviews on sizes of other Assos equipment, I am 6'4" and it is a perfect fit. The pad is comfortable even on those longer rides and also more importantly when in the TT position nothing feels like it is being crushed........ The only comment I would add is when they always have some form of brand tag sticking out of Assos garments four little tags to fix your number to would be adding value!

Husband's Father's Day Present
The kids usually buy their dad cheap chocolates for Father's Day. I thought he'd like this suit better - and he does. The all- black suit looks a bit slimming! He rode in it and said it did the job - it made him look faster anyway!

a great skinsuit
Great product, I am 185cm and 100 chest and the xl is a great fit. The chamois is excellent and one of the most comfortable I have used.
Lean forward into a tuck to get into the arms.

Best purchase after the TT bike
This is my first Assos purchase. I was hesitant at first as the Chronosuit is not cheap. Quality of the garment is excellent. The chamois is the most comfortable I've ever had. I certainly recommend this product. I wiil be buying more Assos products from now on.

the skinsuit assos is the most confortable, the design is perfect,
the technology reduces the friction and the confort for the long distance is the best .
the design is very sexy.

Engineering at its finest
Thats as direct as I can be about this superb product from Assos. Although as with all skinsuits wearing this is not foor the faint-hearted.
When you first put it on it feels like it is pulling you in the wrong places. This is because it is designed to fit your body in the cycling position, after about 20 minutes of use you will forget you are wearing anything at all and thats not a joke.
The good!
The styling is bold and simple and the restricted number of colours is a blessing really (pink wouldnt cut it for this item). It is superbly well designed.
The padding is very strategically placed. Most of you who put in long training sessions on your tri bike, or TT bike will know that they are not the most comfortable things to ride. The padding is very expertly positioned so that it doesn't bunch up, its stretchy so it flexes with your body resulting in no chafing.
The fit in the tri position or standrad road cycle position is superb, and the varied muscle compression is excellent. The garment is good at keeping you cool on hot training days (36 degrees C and up).
The Bad!
Though the thumb loops could be a little more comfortable but this is a very minor issue.
I have also found that it may be a little too low cut on the neckline and have got a little more sun than I would like. this is most likely being caused by a shift in my position from my Tri bars. It's nothing that cant be fixed with a little more sun block but its worth noting that when you move out of its designed position you will be a little more exposed.
The CS Uno has two small functional pockets on the back, these can accomodate an MP3 Player, but maybe a little to small for an iPhone or classic iPod. I have also found that when riding through a crosswind my headphones cable can get caught up in the zip toggle of the other pocket. Again, this is minor and not a problem if you run your headphones through the skinsuit (which is possible), or if you have the headphone cable tucked around the front of your body (I prefer it when I have the cable down my back).
Overall.
Exceptional fit (when cycling), Exceptional quality, and outstanding comfort especially in the Tri/TT position is almost unheard of, but achieved in this product. All I can say is do you love your body enough to give it a treat?

Worthwhile for TT racing
I purchased the Assos chronosuit for 3 reasons. The first is the reputation of the Assos product from reading reviews and listening to other riders. Second, I need to be as aerodynamically smooth as possible if I am to reach my goal of 25 miles in under an hour this July 2010. Third, the price was about the same for a set of high quality bib shorts and a skin tight jersey ($250 US). I have tried the chronosuit on the indoor trainer on my time trial bike and it seems well cut for the low position. Sizing is always a question with cycling clothing makers, so if you are curious... I am 6' 1" tall, 178 lbs, waist is maybe 33", chest is ~40" and I have found the XL size just right. It pulls in the shoulders when standing (as it should), but is just right in the aero position. I have yet to test it out on the road; however, I believe it will meet all of my expectations. So, durability is not reviewed here.

Ultimate skin suit
The most expensive skin suit out there and when you wear it you can tell why. Cut for the aero position it is quite uncomfortable standing up but once on the bike it really comes into its own. So comfortable you barely know you have it on The high quaility chamois means you can do even long distance TT with no concerns about chafing. One word of warning when ordering make sure you look at the Asso sizing chart as they tend to be cut on the small side.

Good buy
Found this skinsuit to be great on when riding, but not very comfortable when you are standing up because of the way it is deigned to fit your body, apart from that a great buy.
