Assos Mille GT Jacket Ultraz Winter

As with any Assos piece, the designers go to great lengths to source, create and position the right fabrics in exactly the right places to achieve the finest performing cycling garments. With the Mille GT Jacket Ultraz Winter, this is no different, with three key fabrics placed strategically to create incredible warmth and temperature regulation.

Neos Light triple layer softshell fabric is used to the front panel and upper back, providing water and wind resistance in these key areas, that more often than not take the brunt of the weather when it turns nasty. Meanwhile, Neos Ultra fabric is layered together with RX fabric on the upper sleeves, giving a wonderfully slim fit, to prevent drag and a very high degree of breathability alongside water repellency. This unique blend of fabrics means that warmth is kept inside but if you do start upping the pace then you can be sure sweat can escape - vital to maintaining a warm and comfortable body temperature. 

Of course, Assos also focus on the details that ensure even a freezing cold winter ride is enjoyable. An integrated neck protector is easily deployed for freezing days and then stowed away when not needed. The raglan cut is incredibly comfortable, minimises drag and still allows excellent freedom of movement. And 'Triple ramp' pockets provide easy access but total security for the contents - they're also supported by a mono-stretch fabric to minimise sagging when loaded up.
