At the heart of the T Équipe Evo Shorts is the all new high performance insert, équipe EVO_S7. New to this pad is the use of ventilation holes at the front of the pad keeping your most sensitive areas cooler, perfect for longer rides in hot weather. This insert also utilises Assos' elastic insert technology that moves with you, reducing friction and increasing, alongside 8mm perforated memory foam, comfort and freedom of movement, resulting in less bulk and better breathability. The pad sets a new standard in long ride comfort.
The main body of the shorts makes use of Assos' finest race-proven fabrics, for example their Type.439 Diadema textile, which has two different rates of 4-way stretch, that results in an incredible fit, light muscle compression and unrestricted pedalling. You'll also enjoy the aero gains from the aeroPatterningFenomeno1 design, first seen at the London 2012 Olympics on their super-fast skinsuits. A patent-pending single seam sits on the rear of your legs, this means the main fabric of the short wraps around your thighs to give you a unique level of comfort and compression.
Lastly the superFlat grippers and Y7 frame carrier bibTec keep the shorts firmly in place with minimum pressure and maximum comfort.
