Smooooth
Fitted these as an upgrade from my BB5 brakes, so the included rotor is redundant. I fitted them individually so that I could make an easier comparison between old and new. They are more powerful but not hugely so. The most noticeable thing is the smoothness. The vibration and juddering that I used to have was gone. My brakes are more consistent now and I can be more confident about stopping without skidding.
The fitting instructions are a bit random and different to their You Tube video. All you need to know is that they are propositioned and need minimal adjustment. Just remove you old ones, cut off the cable end, position the new ones with the screws barely finger tight, and hook up the cable. Then use a rubber band to hold the brake on gently. This sets the caliper in the right place. Torque the bolts down. Then go run them in

Quality brake
Simple but high quality break. Dies the job perfectly. Only one break per package though. Easy to install, easy to adjust.

Beefy Brakes
After too many scarey decents,I decided to upgrade my brakes from the Lyras originally supplied with my bike. I was looking to go the hydraulic route but the market is not ready yet, products are either prohibitively expensive or not fully developed
After reading plenty of the reviews the BB7s were the obvious choice. In addition I splashed out on a set of jagwire cables for the full effect.
On receipt the units had a weighty feel and look as though they could do the business
I am really pleased with the reassuring sense of power given by these brakes. On steep decents they scrub excess speed and could bring the bike to a halt if required
Money well spent

Best cable disc calipers out there!
Easily worth the extra money over BB5s. Apart from anything else, having adjustment on both pads means setup takes half the time. I've had one of these on the front of my fixed gear commuter/wet weather bike for two years and it's been totally reliable. Pads have only been replaced once. I've just taken it apart and serviced it for the first time but to be honest I think it would have been good for another year. When it came time to go single speed and put a brake on the rear, it was an easy choice.

So so much better than the BB5
Road Bike came fitted with BB5 road disc brakes and they were really very poor. Bit sceptical but decided to go for the BB7 in order to see if the bike could actually stop quicker than a super tanker at full speed. It does and no rubbing. These pads actually sit square in the calliper unlike the BB5, set up is easy and because the braking is much better you can actually run the pads further away from the rotors. If you have BB5's ditch them and buy these if you intend to stop in less than 3 miles. (maybe I should point out my daily commute has 532m of descent and ascent I can easily get above 40mph on the downs so brakes are needed)
