For use with Athena, Centaur, and Veloce Power Torque chainsets. This time, the axle is in a single piece firmly fixed to the right pedal crank of the chainset.

    Description

The perfect coupling between central pin and pedal crank is ensured thanks to the particular geometry of the two components; this solution also makes it possible to eliminate the potential play between the different materials.

To make the bottom bracket more efficient, they also worked on the inner part. Thanks to an elaborate sequence of thicknesses, they were able to obtain an incredibly light axle while offering an absolute response in terms of rigidity.

Thanks to the studies conducted by the Campy Tech Lab engineers, material was removed in the zones that could be lightened but at the same time the points of maximum stress were strengthened. Only in this way was it possible to achieve such a high technical value.

A careful working out of the dimensions made it possible to maintain the lateral measurements already defined with the "elder brother" Ultra Torque, thus guaranteeing the maximum freedom of movement and reducing the possibility of contact with the shoes.

    Bearings

Hi received these from you recently, but they only have bearings in one of the cups, not both? Am I missing some?
    Asked by: Stokepete
I can confirm the bearings will come with the non-drive side bearings as the drive-side bearings come pre-fitted to the corresponding chainset designed to fit the cups.

    Bearings query

When I installed my Centaur PT chainset and BB cups, the LH bearing was pre-installed in the cup while the RH bearing was pressed onto the chainset/spindle. Does this cup set include the bearing that is attached to the chainset, or do I need to buy the RH bearing separately? If so, do you stock them?
    Asked by: MechHead
I can confirm that this is only for the cups, the bearings will need to be supplied separately, however at the current time this is not something that we have from stock I am afraid.

I know the left cup includes the bearing, but is the wavey thrust washer (part FC-AT009) and black dustcap also included?
    Asked by: bucko63
I can confirm the washer and dustcap should be included in the box with the cups as standard.

Which thread type is needed for a 2006 cannondale caad8 or the like?

    Asked by: blyh787
This will depend on the current bottom bracket. I would imagine that it is a English thread however I would advise removing the BB to see if there are any markings to indicate the thread type.
