Untra Torque tool
Leave it to Campy to do it differently and require a special proprietary tool just to tighten up your cranks. Still, at least it works.
I recommend this tool to those of you who have an ultratorque crankset and like to be able to do your own maintenance.

Simple & easy!
Purchased this tool to install my Campagnolo Ultra-Torque crank set and it made the installation very easy.
I was also able to use the torque wrench with it too making sure the tension was to manufacture specifications.
Worth the extra money to ensure correct and painless installation.

Necessity
You can't really do a Campy chain set change or service without one. Campy are very clever at making sure you have to buy Campy specific tools. It's annoying sometimes, but I guess it's part of the exclusive allure.

Expensive and of limited use but worth it
It's expensive. And it's not a product you'll need often. In fact, ideally this is a tool you should only need a limited number of times in your life. When you need it, though, you'll be glad to have it. And you can trust it's going to last a lifetime.

It's a bolt, it undoes stuff.
If you have a big allen key, you may be able to undo your Ultra Torque crank (to replace your rusted bearings each winter) without paying Campag eleven quid for the privilege.
Unfortunately, none of my allen keys of this diameter are long enough to get a spanner on them, so this does the job nicely as you'd expect it to, and the added bonus is that your wallet won't weigh you down on those tough climbs after you've purchased this either.

Does the job
This is the correct tool to fit the ultra torque campagnolo cranks together. The outer rear section of the tool is 17mm hex. So if you are using an automotive torque wrench, it will likely have a 17mm hex socket that will fit.
Alternatively, the rear of this tool has a 10mm hex (female) hole. So you could use a 10mm allen key however it is a very tight fit.

A simple but important tool
You really need this if you're going to be working on Utlra-Torque cranks. Yeah that 10mm Allen key you bought at Home Depot will prolly be fine, but it's tough to get any real leverage out of it.

If you're heavily into self maintenance, could come in handy. Another option is to buy a set of metric hex box wrench adapters for a 1/2 rachet at an automotive parts store.

This is one of those tools you either need or don't. If you have a campag UT BB then you need it.

Worth having if you do enough miles to kill UT bearings on a reasonably regular basis. Just makes a simple job simpler!

Simple tool for UT bolts
Not much to say about this really - it's just a short extension that makes it easy to replace UT bolts. If you've got a torque wrench, you can use it with this also to get the correct torque.
It'll probably sit in the tool box & get used once in a blue moon - but it's the sort of thing that when you need it - you need it! (& trying to find something else to do the job would be a real PITA.
Feels well made & durable.

Useful tool - easy to use
Pretty simple tool - fits well and easy to use. It doesn't have much play so you can confidently put the pressure on to get it nice and tight in confidence.

Big iron
It's hard to get really excited about what is basically a giant allen key, but it's not that expensive and if you ever want to take off your cranks, you need it. Once you do take off your cranks, you'll think - that's all this is? Pure genius. The Campy Ultra Torque cranks, I mean. This tool fits perfectly, gets the job done, and I'm guessing with proper maintenance it will still be functional a few hundred years after I'm dead.
