Great piece of kit
Quality item - appears in every way as good as its more expensive competition. Replaced a 10 year old OEM headset and has helped bring the bike back to life.

Old skool is the new skool. All you need is grease
Its very hard nowadays to find a straight streerer headset. When I found it on wiggle I was really impressed. The build and quality from cane creek is world class. Have no problems so far. No creaking for now. I ride mostly dry trails, but its rainy season now where I live and it can get really muddy. As long as you maintain a good maintenance program you are sorted. All you need is grease!

Top notch headset
This headset replaced an unbranded OEM headset on my road bike and the difference in quality is amazing. This feels very well engineered and my handling using it is now super responsive. I thoroughly recommend it, especially at the discount price I found it for.

Very smooth, good quality
A good fit and well-packaged. So far the headset has proved very smooth, only time can tell how long it will last but definitely feel good right now.

Just the ticket
Bought this to replace an old and worn out OEM Aheadset (Kona Jake 2004) and this is super smooth. Can't fault it, and at the reduced price, was just what I needed for what is now my winter/touring bike.

Silky smooth
Good looking, super smooth headset. Nice bit of kit for the money. The cartridge bearings are the standard cane creek size so getting and fitting spares is easy.

Excellent design
This is how headsets should be designed and made. It uses cartridge bearings that can be replaced when they wear out and are available from several sources. Canecreek also have a superb support feature on their website that allows you to find the correct headset for your bike.
The headset appears to be well sealed and looks like an expensive headset.
Hopefully in 5 years it will still be functioning perfectly.

Good quality and good price
Well made and easy to fit ,replacement for an old headset whose bearings had rusted ( poor maintenance by previous owner).

good piece of kit
This is the first time I have used a threadless headset. It was very easy to fit onto a new set of surly forks.Once set up it is incredibly smooth and allows the steering to be very responsive. It looks pretty good too.

Quality Parts, Well Made
Can't say how long it will last as I have only just fitted one but in terms of fitting , feel , functional performance, looks and general quality of machining and finish the omens are very good indeed. To be perfect it would be good if these guys included a stack of similarly finished spacer rings in their box to complete the look and add a little something to the mi but that would cost more and not everyone needs them...
