Love these socks
Good fit, reasonably warm, and keep their shape after multiple washes.

Stylish and do the job
These socks are stylish, warm and well worth having. Merino wool is the only thing that keeps my feet warm in winter so these ahcve proved a sound investment. They look good and they do the job. First castelli item I've bought and I'm pretty impressed. Couldn't give five stars as winter has been too mild to really test thermal qaulities.

Very cosy for the winter
I love these socks. I wear them with the full Castelli shoe covers. They are just long enough so that they are higher up the leg than the shoe covers, ensuring maximum comfort and warmth.
They also look great and feel just as soft as when I first purchased them a couple of months back.

Warmer feet
These are good at give you extra time out on the bike when the temp drops, not that great in the wet has the are to long for my Castelli overshoes so they sock up the wet rather quickly

comfort
Hardly noticed I had these on, which is always a good sign. My feet were warm enough, but again, I didnt notice cold toes, so must be ok.
Untested in zero conditions yet though

Warm, comfortable - great product
I usually use boot covers when the temp drops below 8 C. Got these socks and went out without covers when it dipped around 6 to 7C and was fine. Had a little chill on the longer stretches, but warmed back up quickly. This surprised me from just a sock...
Next used them two times again but with boot covers and wow - perfect, warm but not sweaty. It was about 5C during both those rides.
Great product even if a little expensive.

warm plates of meat!!!
a great sock as always from castelli keep my feet warm with overshoes but my only bug bear is the heel wears out over time so don't get as much wear out of them but I find this with all wool socks

very comfortable
I've worn these a few times now in temperatures ranging from 3-10*C and they are very comfortable and warm. Can't wait to try them in lower temps as so far they seem to be my go to sock when morning temps start at 2-3*C

Best socks
Super comfy 3 season sock. Usual castelli high quality and style. Had them before last for ages, and can get a few wears out of them before they need washing

Good sock but...
Nicely made and good fit. Didn't stop my feet from getting cold though. However I was wearing trainers not my bike shoes.

Great socks for cold days
These wool socks are comfortable, warm, and stylish. I will wear them down to about 8C without overshoes. Colder than that and you'll need another layer on top. Not cheap but worth the expense.

Purchased the L/XL , I wear a size 41 shoe. Fits perfect. Not too short or too long.

I am pretty sure I've noticed an increase in the watts he's kicking out.

Simple but warm sock
Soft and warm socks. Has not yet worn through, which is unusual for me. Good value in the sale. Not particularly Castelli stylish though!

Warm & comfortable
These socks match the product information pretty well. I've found them warm and comfortable wearing them in temperatures from zero to 10 degrees although I do also wear a good pair of Castelli overshoes too.

Great socks
These socks are really warm without being too thick, and very comfy. As with all castelli gear go for a size bigger than you usually are. They're great socks!

Warm and not too bulky
These are good - warm without being too thick e.g. like Woolly Boolies. Nice and soft too and the longer length is good for layering now it's Baltic out.. My favourites are Casetlli Gregg socks though.

Not as warm as Assos
Went out today -2 degrees and wearing neoprene overshoes. Good quality very comfy but not as warm as my Assos socks at this temp. Probably fine for 3-8 degrees but if colder riding is your game then look elsewhere. I do get chilly feet though!
