The frame on the Charge plug 1 is made from 6061 aluminium reducing the weight but maintaining the strength of its predecessor and allowing it to take all the abuse from city/commuting life. With the forks also being made from 6061 and using straight bladed profile on the tubes, this allows them to bring down the weight making sure that the bike is not only strong but light.
To stop you when you need to the Plug 1 comes with a pair of Tektro cantilever brakes, allowing you to stay in control no matter what the weather or conditions are.
Charge have made up a set of their own branded wheels to go on the Plug 1, they have used a pair of Charge Urban double-walled alloy rims and then laced them to a set of fully sealed alloy single speed hubs. Finishing them off charge have put a set of their Kenda tyres in a 32c width to give you the traction and stability needed for tackling the mean streets.
Finishing kit is by charge throughout topped of with the award winning Spoon saddle.

Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
