I'll be honest, it's hard to get that excited about the dhb Classic short sleeve jersey. But don't let that put you off, this is still a good no-frills jersey that is a good choice for a jersey that can just be pulled out of the wardrobe for an impulsive evening ride, or used as a middle layer in the depths of winter...Over the last few years, dhb has built up a reputation for creating good value kit that also offers impressive quality for the price...[the] dhb Classic short sleeve jersey looks pretty smart too, available in three different colour schemes...The dhb Classic short sleeve jersey is undoubtedly designed for summer riding, being constructed from a lightweight and breathable polyester fabric, meaning that it is cool enough to be worn at the heights of the British summer...Fit-wise, the dhb Classic short sleeve jersey is certainly veering towards the more relaxed end of the cycling jersey spectrum. Aerodynamic it is not, but the cut is at least consistent throughout, with no extra loose material in any particular area, and that extra bit of room will please many...However that loose fit does mean that when the three rear open pockets are fully laden, the jersey was prone to sagging and swinging from side to side when riding out of the saddle. There is also a zipped security pocket on the right hand side of the jersey...Despite these little flaws and the fit that wouldn't naturally make the dhb Classic short sleeve jersey my first preference, I've still found myself picking it out of the wardrobe a hell of a lot over the past few months...if I just need something to chuck on for an impromptu ride after work, then this is the jersey that I'll go for.

The dhb Classic short sleeve jersey may not set the world alight, but for £45 it offers decent performance and breathability with a little bit of style thrown in for good measure.
