    Description

    When temperatures plummet to low single digits and even below zero, the motivation to get out and ride can take a hit. But, the Pro SL PrimaLoft® Jacket II provides a brilliantly light extra layer of cold-weather protection, via it’s PrimaLoft® GOLD insulation, to get you out of the door and enjoying the crisp winter air. The GOLD insulation achieves an outstanding level of warmth, but it won’t weigh you down – it’s also easily packable so you can tuck your jacket away in a jersey pocket if you do start to overheat. The windproof shell also contributes to your warmth, keeping out biting cold wind chill.

    The athletic fit is trim and close to the body as you don’t want to be wasting energy battling both the cold and a flappy jacket. Endura uses stretch panels to the back and under the arms, facilitating easy movement and the bonded hem keeps the jacket snugly in place. Three rear pockets make space for fuel and spares and there’s a zipped pocket to stash keys too.

    Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Snug and warm Bough this for winter cycling and was out for an hour in sub-zero temperatures yesterday and the jacket coped well - I wore just a base layer underneath. Hands were freezing [another matter] but body and arms were warm and snug, despite the material feeling quite light. There were various comments on sizing, so with a 40 inch chest I ordered ta large and extra large. Having tried on both [with suitable base layers underneath] it came to a matter of choice. The extra large had plenty of room, whilst the large was a snug fit, which is what I opted for. Well made, with secure pockets - haven't tried it in the rain, but it is not sold as waterproof. Went for the 'visible' orange colour.

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Disappointing I really liked this jacket but there were two problems for me. It really wasn't that warm, I was expecting a bit more in that department. I could have lived with that though (just add layers underneath) but the rear pocket ripped very easily along the seam when reaching in to it for nutrition on a ride. On a closer look they are quite flimsy pockets that I wouldn't trust so I retuned for a refund..

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very warm, excellent for 1-2C rides I don't know if Wiggle made an error in their pricing, but managed to get this for £75...what a brilliant bargin. Out on a cold Xmas morning when the air temp was around freezing, with a baselayer and longsleeve jersey.....was very toasty after a few minutes (feet still felt like blocks of ice 2 hours later at the end, but torso fine). Colour is nicely visible and the fit is excellent. Pockets are deep, was difficult getting phone out to photograph the countryside! Was so impressed that went on the site to get a second, and saw it was back up to £142, hence the slightly oxymoronic 'expensive' con....wouldn't buy at that price (it might be worth it, but pennies are to be watched)...however, would certainly do so at £75 again.

    Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just Perfect below 10 C I'm an older guy close to 50, but former high level cyclist. So I am maybe a bit more sensitive than before to cold. But when you push a bit, something too warm is no good as well. Below 10 degree C, I think that Jacket is perfect and the price to Quality is awesome. I wore this morning by 1 C, I added my thin gillet on top but that was too warm after 15 minutes. That Endura Pro SL will still be chill when you start off but after 5-10 minutes you will be comfortable, keeps you warm and especially breathing through as well. I wanted an affordable Jacket but warm for cold dry weather to replace my 20yrs old team jacket which was just top of the range at the time... I found it and very happy. I was concerned by the cut, as I am normally a Santini lover. But cut is also perfect.. tight on the sides and arms. a bit shorter at the front so you can bend on the bike and back a little longer but not too much. I'm 80kg, for 1.80m, flat belly and went for size M...Looks a bit tight but actually perfect (no more beers allowed!). if you're a bit bigger I'd go for L. I Got the green, and color is very nice, not too flashy but nice enough.
