Very Versatile Stand
Sick of leaning your bike against a wall/fence/long-suffering small child desperate for extra pocket money for doing all those little jobs that need doing on your pride and joy - and all your other bikes..?
AND want a stand that folds down really quickly and easily to hide away in a small corner of your garage when you are done, and yet can be put up and ready to go in seconds?
Then this is the stand for you!
The clamp rotates through 360° so you can set your bike up for Left or Right-handed cleaning or firtling. And you can use the seat post or top tube as the securing point depending on what it is you are doing, and what the fame is made of!!
Because of the telescopic nature of it, it's a little more flexible than some of the one piece stands around, but if space is of a premium and you simply can't leave it 'up' all the time, this is a fantastic compromise.
The 'clutch' on the clamp takes a bit of getting used to, especially releasing it (but with practise you work it out OK) but as long as your bike doesn't weigh as much as a small tank, one-handed securing and unsecuring is very easy!
The tripod base is pretty wide and secure, and finding the optimally secure position that you are happy with is simple enough.
Cleaning, adjusting and working on your bike is just SO much easier with a decent stand.
And this is a decent stand!

Buy one. You won't regret it!
Should have bought one of these years ago. Extremely well made, construction is to a high standard. The clamp is a delight to use and holds bike very well. Because of the design the bike can be moved and held in a variety of positions. No working out what to pull which way because the bike is upside down! Folds into a small package when not in use. Expensive, but you can see where the money went so I guess it's justified. A delight to use because someone thought about it . Overall, a very good product.

Very nice
A nice, very nice bit of kit. A bit tight on the top tube on large diameter frames (Scott spark) but goes on with a little bit of persuasion.

excellent quality stand
Cant do without this now. It makes cleaning and all maintenance so much easier, Stable very adjustable and quality constructiion and finish. Compact when closed for easy storage.

excellent light weight foldable stand
Folds up easily for storage, very light yet is very stable when bike attached- looks great. Only minor point is the lock where you place the bike as a tad fiddly. Recommended!

Should have got one years ago!
Really easy to use. Good quality. Holds the bike nice and stable.
Haven't tested it yet with a brute force service item yet, but it looks promising.

No more back ache
Bought to stop the bending down to clean bike especially the chain & cogs. Now elevate with wheels detached for easier cleaning. Light weight and easy to set up.

Well made,Good design,Stable and Strong.
First impression was how well made it was.Easier than putting up a deckchair to give a work stand which did not wobble,nor creak and bend but was rigid,stable in an infinite number of positions.In short my bike is clean,really clean, Gears,brakes wheels and so on have all been attended to........this stand is seriously brilliant! It's one of those things that once you have one you do wonder how you managed without one. A definite must for those who repair at home whether garage,spare bedroom or kitchen floor..

Very Portable
Use it a lot for out and about. Lifght enough to carry, easy to set up. Sturdy enough to hold most bikes. Darn good!

How did i go for so long wih out one
After some research I decided to by the sports pro workstand having seen many good reviews on it, to say I am not disappointed at all.. it does all that I need makes bike care easy. I will say you need to know what clamp and were you what it hold on your bike, as some people have found out with different frames. as I said above research what you need and you wont be disappointed with what you get

more expensive than some but worth it.
Haven't had a chance to use this in anger yet, but have put it together and it's already clearly streets ahead from the one we had. The wide base makes it super stable and the locking mechanisms seem really robust to keep the bike in place. Folds up nice and small, too. (and it's a pretty colour :-))

Product is exceptional in all aspects
this product excels all expectation in providing a sturdy, stable position for holding a bike during maintenance. Whilst it is not cheap, the functionality, durability and quality of build make it a reasonable priced quality item.
Would have no hesitation in recommending it to a friend or colleague.

Fitted the bill for what I required!
Good sturdy base, although you do have to be careful when you configure the stem with the position over the legs as if you get this wrong it is inclined to tip over once the bike is fixed on! Having said that it is a simple job to work out what that configuration should be and then all the other components are easy and quick to use. Packs away neatly and compactly. Does exactly what it says on the blurb and has been an excellent addition to my bike shed!

Lightweight, easy to setup
I have only been using this stand for a few weeks, but I am very happy with it, it makes setting up and tweaking my bikes much quicker and it is easy to setup in a few minutes, and pack away afterwards. It is very stable as well and feels well made.

Brilliant!!
I've tried a few stands. They all work to some extent - but, for my bikes, this is simply streets ahead. One of my bikes has the Di2 battery mounted in such a way that it makes it unsuitable for those stands that support under the bottom bracket. The fact that this stand can clamp the seat post makes it universally suitable. The build quality is superb and it is relatively portable. I even spoilt myself by purchasing the additional tool tray. Fully recommend this.

Lightweight, portable, stable
Why I never got a workstand years ago I don't know. No more back pain after working on the bike for a long time.
The stand comes fully assembled and it takes only a few seconds to read and understand the clear instructions for converting from folded for storage to open for use.
In use it's height adjustable very easily and the clamp can be rotated without undue effort as you work on different parts of the bike.
The stand folds up easily and into a compact little unit that is easily stored. The finish is good and the materials look like they should stand the test of time. It's not cheap but I feel the balance of quality, ruggedness and compactness is there.
The only thing I have found so far is you have to be careful where you have the feet braced if you're to exert a lot of torque e.g. the initial pressure to remove pedals.
This stand makes working on my bikes much more pleasant and a decent workstand should be on any home mechanics list.

Not as light as the name implies!
I am an occasional bike maintainer, and this stand is ideal for what I want. It is built from steel, very well constructed and has a nice solid feel about it. It may be "light" compared to pro stands or workshop models, but it holds my Galaxy Dawes Al fine at all angles and heights to make access super easy. Not a 5 star review because the securing cams on the tubes do work loose, and need adjusting from time to time. Good news is they can be adjusted, so minor inconvenience.
Not the cheapest model around, good quality and good construction worth paying for IMHO.

Pricey but worth it!
Really light, easy to set up, very sturdy bit of kit and easy to store as folds down simply making it also very portable if you wanted to take on sportive, track days etc. It is pricey, but fantastic quality and therefore worth it.

ideal stand
its one of those things that when you get you wonder how you lived without it. It packs away to a tiny size, can easily fit in the boot of any car. It is very quick to set up and take down again. overall a quality product. 2 of my friends have been so impressed that they have bought it as well, so that says it all really

Fantastic Workstand
Its not often you unpack something to discover that the quality of both the materials and the build quality exceed your expectations. This is an excellent workstand, maybe not the cheapest but worth every penny. It makes even the most tedious of cleaning jobs almost a pleasure!

Perfect work station
I was looking for a quality work station in order to maintain my road bike. I have with the help of utube already saved £85 ( bike shop price ), on adjusting my forks/bearings and my gears.
Second job for this workstation was to clean the bike thoroughly this was soo easy.
Don't waste your money on a cheap workstation but this one!

great quality
previous stand had cracked the frame on my kuota, so needed a stand to attach to the seat post instead (should have done from the start!) this has a good quality feel and is very straightforward to use and to move the bike around for access. the rubber mounts also ensure there's no damage to the carbon seatpost too.
