The same meticulous craftsmanship and engineering that went into Felt's line of carbon FR models also spawned the FR aluminum series. With a Dynaform TIG-welded 6069 aluminum frame and UHC Advanced carbon fork, the FR30 chassis is as finely tuned an instrument as one demands for maximum performance without compromise. Built with a Shimano 105 drivetrain, the FR30 is set to outperform the competition and exceed your expectations.
Light action Vivid Shifting is just one of many features taken from Shimano’s top end groupsets, making the 105 11 speed 5800 groupset a performance option for the masses. The shifters and derailleurs incorporate Shimano’s Vivid Shift technology, with a light but positive feel all the way through the 11 speed drivetrain, giving you the gear you want, when you want it, with the minimum of effort. With its two piece hollow axle design, the Shimano Hollowtech II chainset is both stiffer and lighter than a square taper chainset. Mounting the large diameter bearings outboard of the bottom bracket shell also provides increased stiffness and bearing life over standard cartridge units. With 52/36 compact gearing, you can tackle even the steepest climbs with confidence. 105 Dual pivot brake calipers provide excellent braking power, with angle adjustable pads to ensure perfect pad alignment. A quick release lever aids installation and removal of wheels, for transportation or puncture repairs.
Felt have taken their Road RSL3 tubeless ready rims and laced them to a pair of their R3 specific road hubs, with sealed bearings throughout, to provide a fast and light road wheelset. These are wrapped in Schwalbe Durano, 700 x 25c tyres providing excellent grip in all conditions.
The Felt SuperLite short road bar and SuperLite stem make for a lightweight but responsive front end. The Felt Race Road UHC Performance carbon fibre seat post is lightweight and offers enough deflection to take out the sting on bad road surfaces. The finishing touch is a Prologo Nago Evo T2.0 road saddle. The perfect perch for hours in the saddle.

Getting the Right Fit
At Wiggle we measure each of our bikes to build accurate size charts for our customers. Our qualified team of mechanics then individually check each order, against measurements supplied by you, to ensure the size chosen is correct. Another reason you can have complete confidence when buying a bike from Wiggle!
If you are on the change over between sizes both options will fit. Racers and experienced riders would usually select a smaller size as this offers quicker handing. A larger bike offers more stability and is more suited to new and intermediate riders.
