I run a 12/25 on the back of mine and they fit and roll just fine. Haven't encountered any problems...yet. Couldn't see much difference between an 11T and a 12T

Answer:
You will need to place one spacer against the end of the freehub before adding your 9 speed cassette to a 10 speed hub.
Officially you need a 2.56mm spacer, so this one should do as there's always a bit of an allowance.

You can use a 8, 9 or 10 speed cassette on the Shimano freehub. You only need a cassette spacer if you want to use a 7 speed cassette.

Yes they fit SRAM cassette regularly swop cassette from shimano to SRAM as I have club winter bike with SRAM and a comuting bike with shimano as a exgenge wheels

SRAM and Shimano components work with each other, so if you get the Shimano hub, it will work with your SRAM cassette and derailleur

28c tyres will fit on these wheels but check that 28c tyres will clear your front forks, brakes and frame.

Yes you can (and I do!). You will need one extra spacer to place against the freehub body before you fit the rest of your 9 speed cassette as normal.
