Simple & well made
Very simple to fit, even comes with it's own allen key which is slightly different length to a normal one to help access area behind seattube ahead of rear wheel. A quality item.

Does the job
The old fixing bracket we had with the bike seat had lost threads on the bolts and become unsafe. The replacement does what is says on the tin - no issues.

Simple really.
I purchased this for a second bike so that both my wife and I can take the little monster out for rides.
There is not too much to say about this. It bolts onto the bike easily (4 allen bolts). You simply need to get it in the right position, keep any cables out the way, which the bracket makes easy, and tighten the bolts.
The seat simply clicks into the holes on top, and the red indicators move in to denote that the seat is affixed properly.
The one problem I found is that I have had to adjust my riding style slightly as my legs rub the side of the bracket when pedalling.

Does the job, okay value
Very useful to have multiple brackets for different bikes to easily swap seat round.
Plus points are easy enough to fit, works fine and relatively unobtrusive and light weight to leave on bike without the child seat.
But not exactly that cheap when you consider how much a complete seat is.

Useful accessory
We purchased a Hamax bike seat for our child and bought this extra bracket so that we could switch the seat from my bike to my husband's with minimum fuss. Not too expensive, so definitely worth it for the convenience factor.

Double your options
We had a Hamax child carrier fitted to my wife's bike whilst she was on maternity leave as she was the one predominantly cycling with our child. When she went back to work it became necessary for both of us to be able to use the child seat and this bracket gives us the option without the hassle.
Installation is simply a matter of positioning the bracket and tightening 4 bolts (the Topeak Survival Bag) has an allen key that fits perfectly.
Once fitted, the quick release button means that moving the child carrier from one bike to the next takes seconds and is so easy to do.
Expensive but worth the money.

Usefull timesaver purchase
We wanted an extra hamax fixing bracet so our little boy could swap from one bike to the other really quickly and easily. Very useful, we wish we had purchased it sooner.

Hammax - the best child seats on the maket
Purchased the spare bracket after having my bike stolen together with the old bracket.
Also useful if you need to use your child seat on two bicycles so you don't have to swap the bracket each time.

Hamax Child Seats
Having bought a Hamax kiss cycle seat, I needed an extra clamp to hand it on to my niece. The clamp is easy to fit and the seat slots nicely into it for a good secure fit. The bracket is easy to fit and also allows the seat to be removed for aerodynamic trasportation on the car roof. On the downside I think Hamax are a little optimistic with regard to the weight limit for the unit. My son reached the top end of this and soon found himself bouncing off the tyre with even the smallest jolt. You can move the bracket up to counter this, but this makes the bike a little unsteady. Move on to a tow bike before you reach the top end of the weight and this is a brilliant product.

Hamax Bracket
This is a useful bit of kit. We use the child seat on two bikes, so it saves getting the tools out each time we want to swap.
If you use separate bikes it's worth the extra.
