Works a treat
I fitted an old fork to a new road bike frame I got cheap. The frame needs an integrated headset and a taper steerer but the fork was a straight 1 1/8" steerer.
This adaptor collar slips onto the 1 1/8" steerer in place of the lower crown race and leaves a straight 1 1/4" diameter, allowing the use of a lower bearing of that size. You will also need the correct headset to fit the frame, but this part should work with any make of compatible headset, not just hope. I used a lifeline one.
I popped the fork in the freezer and the adaptor in the oven (180c) for an hour, it slipped on no problem by hand (with oven gloves!) Otherwise you'll need a headset press to fit it.

It's easy enough to fit the reducer crown on to the fork but a royal pain in the are to get the crown on, would have been much easier if they had machined the top edge rather than leaving it square

Fantastic product - Why don't more people use it?!
I bought a set of 1 1/8 steerer forks at a fraction of the price of the tapered steerer. This easily converts for use with a tapered steerer. Push onto the crown, drop the 1.5 race and headset bearing on and you're good to go!

It does what is says on the tin. I love Hope headsets and the way they cover all sizes.

Simple but effective, if a little pricey on RRP!
Didn't come with fitting advice, but my advice is simple; heat in oven for 10 mins at 180 degrees, then carefully drop onto steerer tube (right way up!) and immediately tap into place with some form of slide hammer (I used an off-cut of alloy tube). Dead easy! Shame it doesn't cost a realistic amount for the material or machining required to make them.

Does the job!
Allows the use of a straight steerer fork with a tapered hope headset, simple!
Took some bashing to get it onto my Revelations but once it was on all is good!
