    Description

    25mm wide, bead to bead puncture resistant casing reinforcement and an extra millimetre of tread compound makes the Intensive a long wearing and comfortable tyre. Dual compounds make the Intensive a wet or dry weather performer.

    Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fantastic durability, but sketchy grip when new Brilliant, light and durable compound items that have literally been through the worst of winter with no marks on them (whereas my more expensive Continental GP4000 II's were slashed to bits). I reckon they'd make a cracking summer tire too and do not suffer for speed, comfort or rolling resistance in a mix of conditions. However - the grip is super sketchy when new - Bikeradar summarises this best - due to a silicone compound or coating that seemingly covers it from the factory. I was in a rather nasty crash when cornering in slippery conditions recently; while I can't attribute it to these tires specifically, I would advise a degree of caution when cornering in the wet. Wear them in before you give it the beans!

    Rated 2 out of 5 by from Do not use in wet weather This is a hard tyre that works well in dry weather and areas that are prone to wearing out your tyres or creating punctures. These tyres should not be used in wet weather unless you want a bad fall and a broken collar bone.

    Tubeless?

    I am almost certain these are tubeless tyres. In fact, looking at the photo you can clearly see Tubeless marked on them. And if you google the tyre, they appear to be tubeless. But elsewhere on the Q&A, it says they are clinchers. Can you clarify please?
