Repeatedly buy theseThere is a reason I have bought these 4 times now - not a durability issue but simply because they are the dogs bollocks.
Light, durable and good at stopping you dead. What else do you want from brake pads?

Better braking = more confidenceI purchased these to replace the cantilever cx style brakes that came with my Cannondale CAADX. While cantis scrub off some speed on a trail, they didn't inspire confidence on the roads, particularly in wet conditions. The Kool Stops partner well with mini-V brakes and stop well, even in the wet.

Good block and good priceI replaced my rear brakes with these. It's a commuter bike so not high price kit on it. These blow my front pads out of the water, I can really feel the difference.
A really good brake block for it's price, worth going slightly higher than the cheapest.

Great Stopping Power and Kind to RimsEasy to fit and align brake blocks. Good stopping power in both wet and dry. Have not seen any increase in wear on alloy rims (or the blocks themselves). Highly recommendable.
Are the colour options cosmetic, or do they represent different compounds?
Asked by: peasoup
The colours specify the following:
Black - Dry condition compound
Salmon - Extreme conditions compound (wet, mud, dry)
Blue, Silver, Yellow, Red - All conditions compound
Hope this helps!

does this product work fine in wet weather?
Asked by: Shasha
As with any rim brake pad their effectiveness will reduce in wet weather, however they should still function without issue.

Will these brake pads stop the squealing
I just purchased my SE Flyer BMX and the pads squeal like crazy- will better performance pads stop the noise?
Asked by: Loumex
There are many explanations for squeaky pads, It simply may be down to a dirty rim and pads, try sanding the pads down and cleaning the rim. Then check that the pads are not at an angle and that all bolts on the brake are tight, After that I would suggest looking at upgraded pads.

Can they fit side pull Shimano calliper brakes?
I'm having issues with fork clearance on a custom build. 40mm long brake pads just look wrong, and this ones although longer are also much thinner so they might just fit in the gap. My only question is if they will fit in a shimano calliper (I'm using an old RSX-100)?
Cheers

I don't believe these will be suitable for your requirements.
