Secure floor fixing point for bikesSubstantial floor anchorage point to secure my bikes to. High quality product made with a hardened steel loop to secure you locks to. Nothing will 100% stop a thief but this will certainly put 99.9% of them off trying.

Really good plus drill bits to installUnlike other security anchors the Krypton Stronghold Surface Anchor comes with everything you need to install it, apart from a drill It took not more than15 minutes ito unpack, check instructions, drill holes and install. With a 16mm chain, and lock this is a major deterant to scumbag thieves.p

If you want peace of mind, this helpsSurprisingly large, and unsurprisingly secure. Fastens directly to your garage floor with thee hefty bolts. Comes with the necessary drill bits and keys for the bolt heads. It would take some shifting and is a very good deterrent.
Yes this will fit most locks. The inside measurement of the loop is 50x70mm. The lock is larger then it seems in the picture, the Black base has a 200mm diameter.

How are the bolts secured?
I am thinking of using the Ground Anchor in my workshop, but any intruder would find no end of tools with which to attack it. I presume the bolts hidden or in some way tamper proof?
Asked by: DavidShaw
You tap ball bearings into the allen key fitting and then a larger bearing to cover the space over the bolts. This means that it'll still be there when you move house!

Will Kryptonite New York Noose / Extreme Chain fit?
I am interested in combining this product with either the Kryptonite New York Noose chain or the Krytonite Extreme chain. Will the chain links for the two above-mentioned items fit through the securing ring of the anchor?
Asked by: h1bda00
The ring has a 50mm x 70mm diameter so this should indeed be fine

Suitable in a wooden shed (with blocks underneath)?
I'm thinking of getting one of these for use in a wooden shed. I'd drill through the wooden floor and continue into standard concrete (solid) blocks underneath the shed. Has anyone tried this approach? Would it be suitable?
Asked by: bbolger
I cannot see any issue with set up.

Can this be set into a brick wall on the side of a house? Or into large paving stones that are joined by concrete?
Asked by: hubbers
Hi - I've attached mine to the side of my house directly into the brickwork - and it's very secure.
It depends on how security conscious/paranoid you are as to whether you would attach this to paving stones - he paving stones could be broken with a hammer and the anchor removed

What size are the supplied drill bits?
I would like to know if my drill will be suitable (a cordless Makita - maximum bit size is 13mm diameter).
Also - could you fit two cable locks through this, to secure two bikes simultaneously?
Thanks in advance.
Asked by: stromule
Alhtough the drill bits are large, the ends are slimmed down to fit in most standard drills.
I have fitted two Kryptonite cable locks through mine without a problem.

can this be relocated once installed
Hi,
I'm just wondering if once this has been installed it is possible to relocate it? i.e. move to a different position in a shed?
