Connectivity

Lezyne’s Mega XL GPS cycle computer comes with advanced connectivity options with the device automatically syncing to your smartphone via Bluetooth Smart. This connectivity allows you to receive texts, emails, and phone call alerts right to your cycling computer’s display. You can easily download all your ride files via the plug-and-play flash drive technology and upload directly to GPS Root website for ride analysis. The Mega XL will also auto-sync to Strava, TrainingPeaks, and Today’s Plan plus using Bluetooth Smart or ANT+ you can connect additional sensors and kit.

GPS

Using the ultimate in GPS and Glonass technology you’ll receive the very best in navigation and advanced tracking systems. The screen comes with preloaded maps and offers customisable route building allowing you to adventure further afield without getting lost. A built-in barometer and accelerometer also provides key tracking and weather alerts.

Display

The super large 2.7 inch display comes with 240 x 400 high-resolution and provides a 50-percent larger display than previous models such as the Super GPS. The display can also be completely turned and offers you either vertical or horizontal viewing modes. You can completely customise what data appears on the display and the computer comes with a back light and full colour display.

Please note: Bikes and other bulky items cannot be returned using our local returns service (where applicable). Please contact us and we can arrange to collect these from you using our discounted courier rates. There is a fee for all collections, except for faulty products.

Returned goods must be unused and supplied with their original packaging, unless the goods are faulty. Wiggle will pay the return postage costs for any faulty items.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Really enjoy the computer This was a replacement for a Mega XL when the locating lugs broke, spilling the computer onto the road at 40kph. To give Lezyne credit the computer still worked but with no lugs I could use it in the out front mount. I returned it to Wiggle and Lezyne replaced it under warranty. The computer is great and pairs easily with both lezyne and other meters easily. I did have issues connecting my phone but this was resolved in one the updates about 4-5 months ago and since then its been sweet. We'll have to wait and see if lugs last a bit longer than the first time.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Fully functional GPS mapping/data display The initial setup required a firmware update, not unusual. Had a few problems with this but got full and quick support from lezyne and all the support is on their website. Once the update was done all was good, indeed after a month a second update was availabile which installed with no problems. I have used a Garmin 520 for 2years but after it lwas dropped the GPS didn't work and as I wasn't overly impressed with the units software I decided to try a different manufacturer. I can only say I have been really impressed with the lezyne, easy to use and the extra functionality of using an app on your phone to set up the display, create routes and sync with phone while on the road has been superb. The kit comes complete with an excellent bracket that positions the unit Infront of the handlebar system using the stem bolts, this is really good and can also be used with one of the lezyne led lights. Battery life is also a plus, although I have not done any all day rides I have seen after 4hrs of riding with BT connection to phone hardly a dent in the battery life used, according to the unit display. Finally display is easy to read, route directions pretty clear albeit the usual wobbler on a turn commingled up which turns out to be a bend in the road. I don't think this is uncommon with all map data, due to the points and nodes in the map been inputted into a massive database incorrectly, they probably use software to do this, so much for AI we better be aware when driving cars into fields because the satnav tells us to. Can't fault the unit let's hope all stays that way.
