Good for brake cables, usable on gear cables
I have three cables along my crossbar and decided to order some of these donuts to prevent the cables scratching the paint. They work well on thicker brake cables but a blob of sealant is needed to stop them moving along thinner gear cables

No good for me!
I installed these donuts but unfortunately they keep sliding down the cable. A little frustrating as I wanted to stop the annoying gear cable hitting my down tube.
I guess they'd work fine along the top tube or with a slight thicker cable.

Gets the job done
Honestly, I bought these because I needed to hit the $50 mark to get free shipping. That being said, a friend of mine ended up needing these to stop his bike from being scraped. These get the job done just fine.

Easy to fit
I got these because of a cable tapping the frame on rough roads, fitted some of these and no more noise.

Exactly what I needed!
I still ride an aluminum frame with externally routed cables, so I occasionally get some noise from the cables vibrating/slapping my aluminum frame. These cable donuts were exactly what I needed to minimum the noise, and they're very cheap. One pack of 10 should be enough to do an entire bike with a couple spares leftover. I cannot on durability yet, but I expect them to at least last the life of the cables.

Good little items
Bought 2 sets of these Donuts and for brake cables with the larger diameter cable they work really well but they are not so good on the smaller dia gear shift cables, but for the price i have no grumbles.
Yes i would recommend these items and for the price you can change them when you change your cable.

Donuts
Great little plugs of rubber save the paint on your frame.
Only down side only useful on the brake cable the hole is to big for it to retain itself on your gear cable.
other than that does the job very well.
Recommended.

Simple and cheap
Great little donuts. Do what they are supposed to do and don't slide about on cable.

Very neat and tidy product .
Have purchased these units before elsewhere , very good they are too ! Have found that if you find that your cables sit high then a small rubber band wrapped into the slots will make up the difference and prevent them from sliding (have come across this on a couple of my frames)

Does what it says, great value
Not much to say, good value less than 20p each for sets of 3 donuts (when it says 10 in packet, it means 10 x 3, i.e. 30 donuts).
