The LifeLine Hybrid CO2 mini pump combines a manual pump with a CO2 inflator for fast convenient tyre inflation and emergency protection. With a compact design and durable alloy body, the hybrid mini pump is essential on extended tours and remote rides.

Description

The LifeLine Hybrid CO2 mini pump provides the speed and convenience of a CO2 inflator with the reliability of a manual pump. With a compact footprint, it fits easily into a seatbag or ruck sack pocket alongside spare tubes and CO2 cartridges. The pressure dial allows you to retain pressure in the cartridge for multiple tyre inflations; when space to carry cartridges is at a premium, simply inflate the tyre to a reasonable pressure using the manual mode and switch to the CO2 mode to reach your desired pressure, leaving pressure in the canister for subsequent puncture repairs or tyre pressure adjustments.

Rated 5 out of 5 by PilG from Compact and useable Fits in your pocket and does the job, reasonable price

Rated 5 out of 5 by Coxyla from Cheeky little hybrid pump Like the co2 and pump options of this tiny pump, takes some figuring out how to get to the presta connection, but good once ypu figure it out..

Rated 5 out of 5 by AmericanInCanada from Very convenient and small I've had this for a couple years now and granted, use it mainly with CO2. But I have double flatted a couple times and using the pump is a great backup. It's not really enough to get a road tire to full pressure, but it's enough to get rolling to get home or to a local bike shop. Really love the fact it's super small and fits easily in a back jersey pocket.

Rated 3 out of 5 by tremor from Cheap, kinda does the trick Having used both of the methods of pumping up a tyre with this i can definitely say that you would not ever want to have to inflate a tyre from flat with this manually... it's pretty much useless on mtb tyres. As a canister delivery system it's fine, tbh i'd probably recommend that you get a dedicated co2 canister delivery system and a mini pump separate

Where is the pressure dial?

Asked by: Welshboyarcher
The pressure dial is the knurled end of the pump that you can see in the photo. You attach the CO2 cylinder there, and then turn the pressure dial to allow the gas to be released from the canister to inflate the tyre. It will not tell the the pressure, but it does allow a more controlled release, and enables you to use only part of a canister at a time.

Bracket/clip for pump

I know these don't come with a bracket/clip to fix them to the bike but is there one available that will fit this pump? It is small but if I put it in my tool bag then I have to take something else out, it is full and I don't want to buy a bigger bag if I can help it. Many thanks,
Asked by: DazGT
Unfortunately there isn't a bracket for this pump.

How do you switch between presto and Schrader valve

Asked by: Livo69
To adjust simply pull out the adjuster (where the valve enters the pump). This will narrow the valve entrance making it suitable for presta valves.

Are non threaded cartridges compatible with this or is it only threaded?

Asked by: V01D
This will be for threaded cartridges only.

How to use

It must be me!... 1- Once the valve connection is extended for Presta fit, how do you thread it onto the bike valve without it releasing existing pressure from the tyre? 2- How do you connect the CO2 cylinder without all the CO2 escaping?
Asked by: Birchdale
I'm answering my own question, as I worked it out! The CO2 fitting/collar needs to be done up tight. I felt to me like it just spun, but it does indeed tighten on a thread.
