The LifeLine Hybrid CO2 Mini Pump - Race combines a manual pump with a CO2 inflator for fast convenient tyre inflation. With a compact design and durable alloy body, it's essential for extended tours and remote routes.

Description

The LifeLine Hybrid CO2 mini pump provides the speed and convenience of a CO2 inflator with the reliability of a manual pump. With a compact footprint, it fits easily into a seatbag or ruck sack pocket alongside spare tubes and CO2 cartridges.  When space to carry cartridges is at a premium, simply inflate the tyre to a reasonable pressure using the manual mode and switch to the CO2 mode to reach your desired pressure, leaving pressure in the canister for subsequent puncture repairs or tyre pressure adjustments.

Customer Reviews

LifeLine Hybrid CO2 Mini Pump - Race is rated 4.1 out of 5 by 128.
Rated 1 out of 5 by Hyungsik from Poor I bought it because the size was small and the price was good. However, the hand pumping interval is too narrow and uncomfortable. It will be difficult for a person with big hands to use it. I think it'll be okay to share it with Co2

Rated 5 out of 5 by AndyPandyMan from Covers all eventualities Mini pump and Co2 inflator in a package no bigger than either would be seperately. What's not to like. No brainer especially considering the price

Rated 4 out of 5 by Ironmanwannabee from Small light and works well The co2 part works well, the pump part is small so would take ages to pump a full tyre but it is great for initial inflation before using the co2 and gives you a back up if all else fails

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jim649 from Essential equipment Used this for the first time and was impressed: - Very easy to switch between different valve types - Very compact that it easily hits in your jersey pockets - Lightweight and well built - Easy to use the air cartridge with good control and no air loss - The manual pump is handy for adding a bit of air to the tube before installation Note that the manual pump is for a top up if needed or to add some air to the inner tube before installing - you could do a whole tyre with it in a last resort scenario but it will take a while!

Q & A

How do I connect this to the valve

I have a presta valve which I assumed this would fit, but I cant seem to figure out how to attach the pump to the valve, it only seems to have the thread for a schrader valve. Any help would be appreciated, thank you.
Asked by: tkv3123
I just got this delivered and was frustrated because I couldn't separate the the two valves. I had to find two pairs of pliers and apply real pressure in the opposite directions to release the presto valve. It didn't feel like it was going to go at all. I managed to scrape the the black paint and create a burr on each nut but at least it now works. However I wouldn't have been able to use it if I had just thrown it in my saddle bag.

What's the max PSI for this pump using manual and CO2 modes?

Asked by: Oceantragic
I was able to put 55-60PSI (up to 4 bar) using mini pump but it is time consuming (~5min) as the volume on the pump is small. But it is OK to get you safely back home or to nearest compressor while you run out of cartridges.

Asked by: 60Twin
The MTB version of this pump is slightly longer to allow more air to pumped into the tyre.

Does the pump come with a holder - like those that use the bottle cage mounts?

Asked by: JJJJ31
You don't need a holder - its small enough to fit in your little saddle bag (or even your pocket).

Will this fit cylinders in australia?

Is the thread sizing the same in australia to the uk? or will it not fit cylinders sold in Aus?
Asked by: s1mon1987
In Europe, Africa and much of Australasia, the thread conforms to British Standard 341 Part 1 (.860 in x 1/14 in W) or the direct European equivalent (DIN 477, SN 219505, etc). These threads are in effect interchangeable.
