Probably the best product of this type
Good thick pads.
Only thing I would say is they don't stick as well if put onto an overly curved part of the frame but this is to be expected.
I have bought about 5 sets of these for our bikes, tried others but not as good.

My go to solution and surprisingly stealthy
For a few quid, I have now ditched the sellotape method and do it properly with these patches. They are surprisingly stealthy on my both my bikes, one is black and the other is light grey.
The day when these patches are worn through is probably the day when I turn pro. Application is real easy. Considering you can use these patches on 2 or 3 bikes, I would have like to see more than one alcohol wipe provided. Although you can pick some up easily or just get some when you give blood :)

these patches do the job of preventing cable wear on the frame without being too visible. The patches are not fully clear with the logo being visible. But, with careful placement the logo will always be covered by the cable anyway.

Can these patches be cut to size?
I want to try and put these on the small indents in my frame where the internal cable housing enters and exits the top tube.
Just wondering whether these patches can be cut to size or not?

Are the clear patches ok to use on both carbon and alu frames?
I'm buying my first carbon frame bike and I've heard you have to be careful with what you put on carbon frames so was wondering if these are ok?

I use them on a carbon frame with a matte paint finish without any concerns. I've never tried to peel them off but if you place them correctly I doubt you'd ever want to. That said, I really can't see carbon vs aluminium as being an issue.
