Good solid rims
Have been riding Open Pros for about 10 years and bought this to replace a rim with a popped rivet. Easy to build up into a wheel and to true and look smart. Feel livelier than the replacements which I bought. Look forward to long usage, based on last set (unlike my flashy replacement wheels, where the rims have worn down within a year). Took a long time to arrive in 28 hole format, though.

Value for money
Mavic open pro rims may not be the lightest rims on the market but they are not the heaviest, but they are the best value for money rims on the market. The best quality all round rims if you are into sportives etc.
They look good as well.

Really, What Other Rim Is There?
I've been riding these rims for years now. They're more durable than heavier rims than I've ridden, and the machining and finishing are excellent. I've ridden on wheels with OP rims that I've built myself and that a pro wheelbuilder built for me, and I've never had any problems.

I have used these rims for a long time - they are strong, no frills and do the job.
