Great for a classic build
Really look the part on a classic build, and good quality, although I have been a bit disappointed by how easily the rubber blocks can end up slightly misaligned and twisted.
The pedal itself is only of average width, and the metal bearing caps stand proud of the pedal surface, yet for some reason they suit my size 13 office shoes better than many modern pedals - they are comfortable to ride with (at a suitable leisurely pace) and don't stab your shins.

Единственная качественная резиновая
Покупал исключительно с утилитарной целью и воспоминаниями о босоногом детстве. Ее можно использовать без обуви.
Пришлось разобрать и добавить смазку.

Basic Pedals to do the job
Bought these as an interim step whilst wife became confident on her new road bike. It wasn't long before she transitioned to Clipless, but these pedals bridged that gap. Not a lot to say, other than job done.

OK - perhaps not as good as years ago
Good and comfy for a cargo bike.
Perhaps not as rust free and high quality as you'd find on an old dutch bike - but everything's from china these days.

Perfect for the old school look
Nice quality Japanese-made pedal that weighs heaps but look awesome. Perfect for a restoration of an older bike. These were chosen as they're almost identical to the original pedals on a 1970's Gitane folding bike

Long quality?
I wanted some new pedals to the bike I juse going to the store, bycikle to work and so on.
The bike is a " Monark Birger" a swedish made retro bike, black. It´s an eyecatcher!
This pedals matches the bike perfectly!
First I try Shimano XT. The idea was to have clips sometimes but I didn´t like that at all. I always have wrong side up starting from red light. And they look so "tiny" together with the bike itself.
They maybe little heavy but they feel real good!

Good quality traditional pedal with REAL bearings.
I bought these after some cheapo pedals fell apart (literally) after just a few months use on a round town commuter.
These are well made with what seem to be decent quality loose ball bearings. They are fully adjustable and dismantlable - just remove the nuts on the end of the rubbers and it all comes apart. I chose to pack mine with extra grease having been warned that there sometimes isn't enough as supplied. (They were OK, actually.)
The only con I could see is that there isn't a seal on the bearing nearest the crank, so it relies on being well greased.

Good quality rendition of a poor design
I bought these pedals to use with regular (leather-soled) shoes.
As many have noted, your feet do not touch much of the rubber on this pedal. Instead, they will touch the metal sides. This is incomprehensibly bad design, so that unless you have the feet of a child you will not be able to use this pedal.
I have hacksawed through the side pieces, and it is now usable. It has also weakened the pedals and exposed their innards to the elements.
I have not tried them, but the Ergon PC2 pedals look like a much better design for this application.

Good item
A real good item, made with "real" mterials: steel and rubber, no ceap plastic! The best you can Have for an old bicyckle or for an everyday use! And the price is very good!

Excellent product
Great for safety-conscious commuters, like myself, because the durable rubber blocks prevent shoes from slipping.
Moreover, the retro design has enhanced the look of my bicycle.

Look better than they perform
Bought these good quality, good looking pedals to give my bike a retro look (which they do perfectly).
However I find the raised metal plate at pedal end annoyingly intrusive..and just don't understand why designed thus. These will be chucked in my parts bin and a comfortable set of MKS sylvan touring pedals fitted instead.

Exactly what you think are
solid and exactly what you think they are. Rubber. Pedals.

Real Good Flat Pedals
I tried two types of flat pedals for my bike that I use for commuting. One was full metal and had two thin strips of rubber on it. This pedal was crud, as soon as it got wet your foot would slip. So I put on a spare set of pedals I had. These were hard plastic with little grippy teeth. Also crud as soon as pedal gets wet. Also hurts your feet if riding barefoot.
These rubber pedals are awesome heaps of grip even when wet wearing shoes with smooth sole. Seems very high quality at a good price. Bearings very smooth. I'd give it 5 stars if I owned em a bit longer and was more convinced of their long term durability. Only problem (very minor) is that they are a bit narrow; shoe doesn't quite fit between metal edges.

brilliant
i got these pedals because I sometimes cycle in my fancy shoes with leather soles - they are very sensitive so pedals with spikes would damage them and also they easy slip on metal pedals. So these are perfect. A bit on the heavy side, but worth it.

Great quality item
I was about to give up my search for good quality rubber block pedals for my vintage town bikes when I came across these. I have used MKS products in the past and have always found them to be excellent quality, as you would expect from a Japanese company. These are no exception. The chrome work is excellent and the blocks are made from a high quality, grippy rubber so you can wear any shoes you like with these. If you own a nice old town style bike, for the price Wiggle sell these it is not worth screwing around with poor quality chinese made pedals. Only downsides is they are heavy, and like all new MKS pedals i think they need a bit more grease in the bearings from factory. These are rebuildable, so no problem taking them apart and servicing them. Overall, a great value item for your vintage bike from a high quality company.

MKS 3000R Full Rubber Commuter Pedals
Wonderfully finished pedals. Serviceable bearings. Great pedals for bare feet or thongs. Heavy, but they ARE rubber. They are going on my mixte townie build.

When only the best will do.
When restoring a 46 year old English made 3 speed bicycle that Santa gave me for Christmas when I was 10 I was in need of a set of great pedals. These were perfect. Very smooth bearings. Now when I ride it I feel like I'm 10 years old again! Only bicycles can do that for you! Thanks!
